John J Contracting
Building a home is no easy feat. From finding the right place to settle down in to saving enough money to start construction, sometimes you may have to wait for years before this dream comes true. But once you've saved enough, all you need to do is get your plans drawn, sit back, relax and watch your home built in front of you.

John J Contracting is a custom home builder on Long Island, as well as a general contractor, who can help make your dream home come to fruition. We offer a plethora of home remodeling and renovation services to meet your needs, from bathroom and kitchen remodeling to deck and patio construction, masonry services, and custom homes.
Services
Thanks to our years of experience, our dedicated and highly qualified team and our constantly updated work techniques, John J Contracting does not limit itself when it comes to construction. Building or renovating a house needs to be done in various phases. We make sure to undertake each and every phase so that you don't have to look around for other contractors.
A decade ago, when you first built your home, it may have been the most elegant home in your Long Island neighborhood. Today, however, dozens of new homes have likely been built around it, and suddenly yours starts looking a bit outdated. Don't worry - John J Contracting has the right solution for you.
Did you know the average person spends nearly two hours a week in the bathroom? Whether it's for self-care, or just to relax, we all spend a lot of time in our bathrooms. But if you're counting down the seconds until you can get out of your bathroom, it's probably a good sign that the space is in need of a remodel.
Does your interior need a refresh or a makeover? John J Contracting is here to help. Perhaps your curtains have started to fade or your furniture is beginning to creak. Or maybe that "ultra-fashionable" makeover of a few decades past is starting to show its age.

Either way, John J Contracting subscribes to the timeless maxim that while interior fashions might come and go out of style, true interior style never goes out of fashion, and we've got many terrific solutions to bring out the timeless interior beauty of your home.If you've ever considered doing your own DIY interior work, you've probably watched your fair share of interior decoration shows.
Everyone's definition of what a home is is different. For some, a simple flat downtown feels more welcoming than any mansion, while others desire nothing less than twisting hallways and sprawling dining rooms. When it's time for you to build a home that is well and truly yours, you'll want to work with a quality home builder and general contractor in Long Island.

John Jay Contracting created a beautiful master bathroom for us. Even during the crazy pandemic and all the delays on shipments John was professional and got the job done. We made many changes as the project progressed and he never said “no”. He is extremely creative and doesn’t stop until he is satisfied, with all my ideas he helped make them come to life, resulting in an amazing job! Highly recommend John Jay Contracting.

Over deliver, ahead of schedule, exceeding expectations, didn’t have to become my own project manager, trust worthy crew,  over and beyond are some ways I have to describe John J Contracting and this blows my mind because every contractor who has done work to my house over the last 15 years in most cases not one of those descriptive words apply to any of them! To say that I’m blown away by John J contracting who checked off every one of those boxes is mind blowing to me
Project was to convert my garage into a utilizable living space
