My name is Laura Clardy. My husband Derek and I own Motogear. I had never been on a motorcycle in my life until I met Derek. On one of our very first dates he talked me into riding with him on his sport bike. He drove too fast and on one wheel! Needless to say, I did NOT enjoy the ride.
At the time I was in college working on a Social Work degree so I NEVER would have dreamed that 17 years later we would be together managing a powersports dealership.But I fell madly in love with a man who had a dream of owning a motorcycle dealership so now here we are! We opened Motogear in 2011 selling pre-owned motorcycles.

Brought bike in for some carb work cuz bike had been sitting a while. Was told that they were bout 2 weeks behind cuz of virus. No problem, called after 3 weeks still have not started on it. Once they dug in, quoted me $500+. I agreed. Went on vacation,come back still wasn't finished,. After all said and done; it was almost month and half. On top of that, had issue. Price went up to over $600. Charged $96 for a new battery and install that I didn't authorize because I put a new one in the week before I dropped it off.
I was very unhappy with the service and will not be using them again

I called to inquire about a new motorcycle price listed on the web site. Colin was quick to answer my questions, confirmed some details, and even sent additional photos and video to my cell phone. I placed a deposit and drove almost 350 miles the next day to pick it up. Took about an hour to set up financing, go over the bike, and load it on to the trailer (and some of that was just talking about motorcycles in general). Aside from the long drive there and back, it was a great experience and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
