I had an appointment for December 28 2020 to get my eye lashes filled, I called serval times to verify my appointment and I did not receive a call back.
Although Google and Yelp said they were still open for business. I went to 555 Sutter Ave the second floor to DNA Salon where I waited for a half and hour.
When I left I was very upset that I took time out of my day for this.
Today I get a call from the owner who was rude and aggressive yelling into the phone stating I was mistaken and did not book an appointment with her business.
I understand it was a technical issue but the way she handled

I have been thinking about getting lashes for a while now, since my friends have been raving about how much they change your life. I have been hesitant because I was nervous that 1) they wouldn't look natural, 2) they would fall out and be patchy, 3) it would be a tedious and uncomfortable process.

A bait and switch kind of place. I got a Groupon for this place and called to make an appointment. I told Mai that I needed to make an appointment sooner than later because it was expiring soon and all the open slots on their online scheduling system showed only dates many months out (past the expiration date of the Groupon). She told me they honor the Groupon deal and to just book it regardless. I didn't push to see if they could squeeze me in because I trusted what she said about honoring the deal. The day before the appointment I called to confirm that they'd honor the Groupon deal

This was my 1st time doing eyelashes extensions. I read on Internet that is tiring, thats not comfy, bla bla blah, but my experience with Mai was totally the opposite.
Mai is super nice and professional. I set my appointment the day I wanted. She gave me all the instructions and explained me step by step how this works out. Her table was SO COMFORTABLE and warm, that everything passed so fast. My eyelashes look beautiful, I love them! Totally recommended!

I LOVE MY LASHES! Thx to Mai, I have these lovely long glam lashes that look natural and also last. I don't even wear makeup on my eyes anymore...lashes are all I need.

I totally surprised my girlfriend for Valentine's day and purchased a full set of lash extensions in Union Square San Francisco! I called up Mai and she was super nice! I found her on my Yelp app. Great Experience and my girlfriend looks even hotter now. Thanks Mai! PS - I am a business owner too, I strongly dislike people who buy Groupons and leave long winded unfortunate reviews. My tip - Know what you are buying.

Updating my review now that It's been a bit of time. I loved my lashes initially, but they were completely gone in two weeks. After going to Mai I went to a different place to get another set and in comparing the quality, I realize that this place left tons of glue and my lashes were very crusty/chunky. This glue was easy to pick and bothered me, although you couldn't really see it--I could definitely feel it.
