My name is Thanh Tran and I am a licensed esthetician and owner of Wink Studio. I graduated from UCSC in 2011 with a BA in Business Management Economics. After working in corporate for my entire life, I had a change of heart in my career. In 2017, I attended Cinta Aveda Institute to obtain my esthetician license to start my career as a lash artist.
I trained with Borboleta Beauty in classic and volume lashes and began to work at Flutter Lash Bar on Piedmont Ave. After 2 years, I decided to open up Wink Studio. I take great pride in my work and ensure each set is unique to each one of my client based on their needs and lifestyle. I would describe my work as clean and meticulous; lash extensions should never feel painful during or after the service.

Services
Our lash menu is simply a guide to help you choose a set that is best suited for your overall look. Our main goal is to provide you with a healthy beautiful set of lashes that are weight-free and comfortable enough that will forget you have lash extensions on. Each service begins with a full consultation to ensure we provide you receive a custom lash set that is suited for your eyes.
Make sure you remove all trace of eye make-up with a make-up remover and wash your lashes before your appointment. Lash extensions will not bond to dirty lashes. If your lashes are not 100% clean we will need to clean them before the service, which will cut into your lashing time. No caffeine at least 6 hours before your appointment.

I've been to Thanh twice now for a lash lift. She's fantastic. The studio is quiet and clean. I feel very safe in her environment. I love the comfortable recliner you lay in during the service. The music is so calming, I practically fall asleep! And I always love my results! I have short, straight lashes until Thanh gets her hands on them!

I first got my lashes done with Thanh when I was looking for a trusted Bay Area lash artist in June 2021. I was scarred by a home lash artist and I felt like my lashes were short/weak and I had pulled out strays from a previous set (this is a big NO NO, don't be like me). Thanh did a fantastic job on my new set and they looked great for my birthday party. Definitely is that no makeup look. I started with hybrid lashes and transitioned to volume fills. Thanh is an angel. I had her removed my extension which was done in a different salon. Accordingly, my extension was glued so closed to the skin which was not right (which is why I was feeling uncomfortable with the extension on) and it made the removal process not easy but she was very patient and kind throughout the process and gave me some tips/advice as well. I really appreciate her service. Also, her place is comfortable. My first time giving reviews because she deserves it.

I had the most relaxing experience at Wink getting a lash lift. You sit in a super comfy chair, listen to calm music, and you're expected to just lay back as the service is happening (rather than some places where they may be chatting with you). The service was so relaxing, and I really appreciated the attention to detail and level of care. I'm so impressed that six weeks later my typically straight lashes are still curled (even after an extensive stint in a sauna which can majorly impact lash lifts). Highly recommend!

Extremely professional and beautiful lash work! Once I found Thanh at Wink, I haven't been anywhere else for lash extensions. Thanh is super sweet, knowledgeable and the lash work she does is amazing every single time I go! Bonuses, the studio is clean, super cute, and instead of a hard table bed, you sit in a super comfortable lazy boy chair that leans back. Thanh's service was outstanding from start to finish. I was greeted and my consultation was in depth and personal, which I loved. I told Thanh I was looking for not too dramatic but noticeable and warned her of my past discomfort during lash services. I had a Hybrid set done and I took the most peaceful lash nap during her service. Her touch was light, focused and professional. Before I knew it, 2 hours was up and I was looking at naturally flared and not too dramatic lashes, which is just what I asked for. I love my lashes from Wink studio. I have been getting professional eyelash extensions for more than 5 years and I have never had an eyelash technician so professional and skilled. Her knowledge of eyelash application goes beyond making it look beautiful. She cares about the health and longevity of your natural eyelashes too. Thanh is amazing. This is hands down the best place to get eyelash extensions in the Bay Area. Her studio is clean and modern. When you enter you get to sit on a comfortable recliner while soft music plays. Than makes you feel at ease and really takes care jvof your lashes when she works. Thanh has a delicate touch and really cares about the quality of the lashes she creates. If you want lash extensions I 100% recommend Wink Studio.

I have been a loyal client for a year and a half now - i constantly get compliments on my eyelashes. People always ask me if they are real - Thanh uses the best products and is great at what she does! She knows exactly how to make your eyelashes look long and fluffy without being too flashy or tacky.

I followed Thanh after she left her prior studio and started Wink. I'm so glad I did! She does excellent work giving me natural looking professional lush lashes. Other lash providers have uncomfortable eye stickers that make it hard to sit still for so long, but Thanh makes sure everything is comfortable before getting started. This spot is fantastic and so is she!

Thanh has been doing my lashes for about a year now. She is warm, professional, and amazing at her job. We talked a lot about the different options, Thanh is extremely knowledgeable, and listens to your concerns and wishes. Thanh has been doing my eyelash extensions since January of this year. I naturally have very thin and light lashes and had never had extensions prior to seeing her and was hoping for something that looked natural while providing much-needed fullness. I've been getting my lashes done by Thahn for over a year now. She always makes time to see me even with a days notice. Thahn's work is absolutely amazing. She knows exactly what works and what doesn't and she always makes your lash health a priority. She is so warm and friendly, and the space is so cute and spa-like.
