As a third-generation Beaufort attorney, I am proud to call the Lowcountry of South Carolina my home. My grandfather, Joab Mauldin Dowling, was a founding member of the Dowling & Dowling Law Firm, which stood for many years in downtown Beaufort. My uncle Joab "Jojo" Dowling Jr., and my mother Jane Dowling Fender were members of the firm.

Addison, Tracy and Bob were all working hard together as a team to help me. I had gone through two lawyers and thousands of dollars prior to finding and hiring them. Before I obtained this law firm I had been dragged through court for about three years. Muddy waters should not be allowed in my personal opinion but this team cleared things up. A lot of lawyers seem to blow smoke in order for you to obtain them but then don't follow through after hiring them. NOT these guys. They are good. They stand up and fight for you. I don’t usually leave reviews but for this amazing attorneys at The Fender Law firm I had to. I found myself in a situation with my kids that was the most unbelievable, horrific, stressful time of my life. I met up with these wonderful people and I felt safe from the time I met them. I cannot say enough about my wonderful experience with the Fender Law Firm. Divorces are messy and emotional but from the beginning they were patient, compassionate, and professional with both myself and my spouse. Addison Fender worked with my husband and I to reach common ground in the settlement agreement and kept us focused on what was in the best interest of our child. We had spent years trying to complete a step parent adoption. Mr. Fender was recommended to us by a friend and they made this process so easy! They actually helped us and walked through the process with us. A… lot of other places drug the process out for years and we still go nowhere. They were so willing to help us and they were fantastic!
