We worked with Michael and the Duffy Real Estate team to purchase our first home and could not be happier with the results. We purchased an old farm house build in the 1800s, and therefore the process and inspection was pretty involved - Michael was extremely professional, knowledgable and trustworthy throughout the entire process. Let's be straight: John Duffy is amazing, you should hire him. Seriously, he is competant, responsive, thoughtful, knowledgable, and pleasant. I expected to not like my realator having heard horror stories from friends. Most people I talk to sort of tolerated their realator because you need one to buy a home. All descriptions sounded like my crazy aunt-- flighty, not that dependable, and trying to sell you on the "potential" of things. John was none of those things. First, he is personable and engaging. On the high recommendation of a friend, we worked with John Duffy to find a home to rent in Society Hill when we moved to Philly. He was stellar in working through myriad issues with the landlord not just through getting the lease signed, but over the next two years -- above and beyond and always available to answer questions and help.
