KCMI Capital is a full service, direct portfolio lender catering to brokers. KCMI Capital specializes in lending money using commercial real estate (CRE) as collateral. KCMI Capital's focus is on the CRE deals that do not fit the mold of traditional banks for a variety of reasons such as global cash flow issues or credit problems.

KCMI's unique approach to underwriting these loans allows us the flexibility to tailor the deal to meet the needs of our borrowers. This streamlined approach translates into working capital for investors and small business owners. This allows us the ability to maneuver quickly, and in most cases close a loan in just a few weeks.

Ken Markizon serves as the President of KCMI Capital. He has been underwriting, approving and closing small commercial mortgages since 2003. Ken's favorite part of the job is working with the brokers and small business owners throughout the country. Ken loves the opportunity to learn about small business owners and help them get the money they need to be successful.
Since KCMI Capital's underwriting approach is unique, there is no matrix or pricing sheet to reference. Each deal is evaluated and priced according to the individual ability. Eligible deals must be 1st position mortgages on a wide variety of commercial real estate with loans between $50,000 and $1MM.
At KCMI Capital, we are mainly a wholesale lender for commercial mortgages. We rely heavily on our mortgage broker contacts and keep them updated on the progress of their file every step of the way. YSP (yield spread premium) is available for brokers through KCMI Capital, and we always protect our brokers for their fee.
When these borrowers needed fast cash for working capital for their upcoming, seasonal business, and their traditional bank was moving too slow, they didn't know what to do. KCMI moved fast providing them with the cash they needed to purchase inventory and equipment for the upcoming summer season. When this borrower was looking to purchase this investment commercial retail building, and his bank was moving too slow, he didn't know what to do.
