This post is about 4 years overdue because I knew after the first visit that I was being treated by an exceptionally highly qualified and experienced first-rate professional. I am a patient of Dr. David Shein's. This doctor works with an ease of confidence that is transmitted to you, in turn putting you at ease in even the most stressful situations, giving you confidence and a sense that you are getting the best orthopaedic care from an expert in the field. He is straightforward and explains very clearly and exactly what you need to know. You get the sense that his brain is constantly churning

In my heart I truly believe they saved quality of my life . There will never be a day that I’m not grateful for these two men. If You’re lucky enough to be in their presence one day then you will understand. They Care ,they really really care about the person and their families. each member of their staff goes out of their way to get right back to you. I could go on and on about Michelle and what wonderful nurse she is .every single member of that office has been nothing but extremely helpful caring and thorough.

Dr. Daniel Shein saved my live. That’s how I would put it. After years of suffering I was able to get discectomy and fusion at the cervical level. He has healing hands. 10 months after surgery all symptoms are completely gone and I’m forever grateful for that. I don’t mind the long wait in the office. I know if I have an appointment I’ll be there a while but is ok because is quality over quantity anyway. Recommend this doctor for orthopedic needs any day. Thank you Dr. Shein!

Dr. Shein has performed two lumbar spinal surgeries on me and a total knee replacement. The first surgery was very complex. I'm a former world class athlete in two sports. You cannot tell that I've had any surgery at all.
The ONLY complaint you will read here is the long waiting room times, which are crazy. If it was any other doctor and you didn't know better, you'd probably never come back.
On the other hand, the typical conversation you will have in that waiting room will be punctuated by, "BUT HE'S WORTH IT".
He is.

Holy Moly! I can not say enough great things about this Doctor. First off, you are going to wait.... like hours for every appointment we had, but I can say it was 100% worth it (I'm glad I read so many reviews letting me know it would be long but worth the wait if you value health over spare time). I have to take a second to discuss the staff. The staff bent over backwards for me every step of the way. HUGE shout out to Marianed, who truly made us feel like we were priority every step of the way, but honestly, all of the staff was amazing. Forgive my spelling, but Tonya, Tina, Michelle, Giselle

The worst doctor's office I've been to. The wait time is ridiculously long. I don't understand it at all. Why are you scheduling so many people that the wait time surpasses 3 hours on any given day. This is my third visit and my wait to see a doctor in the waiting room has been 3 hours. Ridiculous! And I'll likely have to wait another hour until he decides to show up in the exam room for the 5 minutes my actually appointment lasts. This will be my last time. I'd rather start over with another doctor with better time management and one that actually cares about their patient's time.

Dr. Shein is literally the answer to my prayers. I had a bad accident where i was t boned by a semi truck in 2016. Every single day since my accident i felt like i was aging rapidly. My body had no foundation...all my moves were guarded. I lost movement in my legs while walking and also going down stairs. I was going thru an induced mid life crisis. After researching and finding out about David (who i prefer to call by his first name bcuz he’s become family) i was given hope. After meeting David and some of his patients i could not find one person who has had a bad experience with him. Fast forward

I have been a patient of Dr Shein's for over 9 years. I am aware of the wait. Which is why I try my hardest to make an 8am appointment. If I can not get an 8am appointment, I know that the wait is long and a 2 or hours. But, in all honesty, there is not other Orthopedic Doctor or Surgeon that I trust HE IS THE BEST YOU CAN GET. The reason that the wait is long, is because HE LISTENS AND SPENDS TIME WITH YOU He operated on both of my shoulders. In 2010, I had breast cancer and in 2011, I was getting very sick, IT WAS DR SHEIN WHO KNEW THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG HE SAID I NEEDED A PET SCAN CALLED MY

I will charitably give Dr. Shein 1 star and that is simply because I believe he is passionate about medicine. However, starting with his staff, they lie to your face about waiting times. We were told the wait was 1 hr. so we hunkered down and joined the large group of patients in the waiting room. When we asked again, we were told the wait would actually be 2 hrs. Every available seat was occupied by patients waiting a minimum of 2 and 3 hours. Dr. Shein had my relative wait a total of 3 hrs in the waiting room and then another 1/2 hr. in the examination room which is plainly unacceptable. When
