A rotator cuff tear or injury is an injury to the group of tendons and muscles that surround the shoulder joint. The group is often confused with other names but is simply known as the rotator cuff. When there is an injury or tear it is to the tendons. These tendons are what connects the muscles to the bone.
The ACL or anterior cruciate ligament is one of the major ligaments of the knee. An ACL tear is a complete tear or injury to the ligament most often through a sudden change in direction. It often makes an audible "pop" sound at the time of injury. A torn meniscus or meniscus injury is an injury to the specific cartilage in your knee joint.
For surgical rotator cuff repair, it is a procedure that aims to re-attach the torn tendon to the head of the humerus or upper arm bone. Depending on the severity of the tear complete reattachment through stitching may not be needed. A trimming or smoothing out procedure could be recommended. Surgery for a SLAP repair is a procedure to repair a specific type of labral tear within the shoulder joint.

ACL, anterior cruciate ligament, surgery is a surgical procedure to repair an injured ligament in the knee. As a major supporting ligament in the knee, the ACL is commonly injured and often done while performing sports or putting the knee through a strenuous twisting motion. The injured knee is so weak that it is hindering normal everyday activities such as walking, using stairs or getting around.

I visited Dr. William because I had a back problem and was diagnosed of herniated disc. He was of absolutely of no help. He kept on asking me to do PT sessions. Despite of letting him know it’s not helping after 8 months, he added additional exercises which were again of not help. I insisted on injection as I had read somewhere it’s worth trying. Instead of giving the injected on the back, he gave it on my outer thigh which had to lead to a swelling because of my back. Which dint help! I finally gave up and stopped visiting him.

Found this place on ZocDoc during the lockdown and I had my first visit trough the video call. Dr Lackey was really helpful he immediately gave me solutions and gave me an idea what is going on with my hips. Later on I went to the actual office and all the staff was there to help everyone especially Tania his assistant. They have all the information you need at any given time. Dr Lackey goes with conservative methods such as PT and steroid injections before trying any surgery, he’s very honest and knowledgeable. I also heard a lot of positive experiences and feedbacks while I was in the waiting

Don't go to any other orthopedic surgeon. He's amazing. Super patient and kind with my 7 year old son after he broke his foot. Very efficient in his diagnosis and was able to explain to us exactly what was going on with his foot every check up we had. Had him skating back on ice for hockey within 3 weeks; he showed us exactly what was happening with his progress on both the xrays and in simple terms. I recommend all my friends kids who play sports to go to him--he's super nice and very mechanical with his hands so he's able to carefully figure out what's going on with your child's body immediately
