I did not choose Cottonwood title my builder did, but it was a comfortable and relaxing place to close. My lone advice would be for them to get an office Dog or 2. Capstone title has 2 well mannered dogs wandering the office and because of that I will choose them every time.

Krista is amazing. We had a great experience when we closed our home purchase and loan a couple of years ago. Today I needed a copy of our deed for a trust. I thought I would have to deal with the state. Fortunately I tried Cottonwoods number first and got to speak with Krista. She immediately looked it up and offered to email a digital copy! When I explained to her my concern about getting the deed to another property that their title company didn't handle she was quick to offer the research to find that one for me as well. I'm just writing to let you know how disappointed I am in Cottonwood Title.
1. The balance of the refund check from closing was "mailed" but never received by me. I had to go in and get a another check after a few weeks of waiting. I called Cottonwood and the person I spoke with didn't have record of the check being cut or sent in the first place after they confirmed multiple times by email that it had been sent to me.
2. CWT once again confirmed that my property tax check had been sent for payment. After almost 2 weeks of it not clearing my account I called the county
