Our physicians have undergone rigorous fellowship training in dermatology through the American Academy of Dermatology, skin cancer and reconstructive surgery through American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS).
To deliver on our promise of providing complete care to our patients, we provide skin health screenings at our screening center location. Mohs Surgery, named for its originator Dr. Frederic Mohs, is a highly specialized surgical technique for treating skin cancer where the doctor performs the role of both surgeon and pathologist. Henghold Dermatology is one of the only practices in this region that is able to remove malignant melanoma using the Mohs surgery technique.
Our surgeons have experience with all types of reconstructions necessary after skin cancer removal. They are fully skilled at restoring the skin cancer surgery site back to normalcy. From the first consult to the final check-up our surgeons are committed to restoring form and function to the surgery site.

I feel like I can walk away without any worries after my appointment. They are thorough, answer all my questions, and deal effectively with any cancer concerns from previous treatments and find all newly forming areas of concern. The staff is so very kind, courteous, and gentle with not just myself but others I hear escorted to their respective exam rooms. I live worry free between appointments. I'm grateful for such a professional and efficient staff.
