Best oysters in town! Small, quaint - you will like everything about the Boathouse Oyster Bar. In my view, it is hard to find any other place that beats the Boathouse Gumbo. Recently they expanded the menu and the seating area, but you will still get the usual bowl of Gumbo and a couple dozen raw oysters.

Tried to simply get a ride for my family about 5 miles. Said they couldn't right now . I asked about later and they said nope not then either. This was at 10 a.m. So you call a taxi business at 10 a.m. and they can't give you a ride at any time during a giving day?? Zero explanation on top of that
