Hong Kong House Chinese Restaurant & Lounge is a pleasant surprise-unpretentious yet stylish dcor, creative and colorful menu and a bounty of scrumptious offerings. Owner Mrs. Liao approached it by creating the house into a contemporary and cozy establishment. The neatly arrayed tables, the elegant lantern contributes to a homey and heavenly place, and the lingering soft music complements the already laid-back settings.?
Hong Kong House features extensive selections of Chinese cuisine, ranging from Sichuan to Cantonese fare. To better cater to customers' needs, the chef at the restaurant has slightly adjusted the tastes of his dishes. Signature dishes at Hong Kong House include General Tso's Chicken, Orange Flavor Chicken and Happy Family.

Called on an icy, snowy night as we were coming into Salem. Staff was helpful and offered several suggestions about what to order. Arrived and ordered, staff offered to bring the food to our car since the lobby was already closed. Provided plates & forks since they knew we were going to a hotel. Food tasted great!

Lovely Decor! Felt like I was stepping back in time to the 50's, 60's, 70's in Chinatown San Francisco! The Menu was simple, the dish (mine & my dining partner) was great. I had a combo #7 & my dining partner had a combo #6. The BBQ Pork was quite fresh & didn't have that yuckie unneutered Pork taste or smell. That's a big, HUGE gold star for my taste. The Fried Rice had a ton of Veggies & BBQ Pork in it. I can say without a doubt it is my favorite Fried Rice yet. The Egg Flower Soup was flavorful & had Tofu in it. I forgot to take a photo of it, as I was enjoying it so much. The Mar Far Chicken

They actually give you what you ask for which seems to be unheard of in Togo Chinese food. Good value with food to cost. Still not sure if I'm supposed to be eating the whole fried sweet n sour shrimp but it chews up good. Sauce on the side please.
LThe house fried rice is good but he sure to get some soy sauce with it as it's a bit bland without and absolute fire with good sauce.
Broccoli beef is decent but a little to thick. Needs carrots. Our go to place now, even tho we pass 5 others before getting here.
Fast to go orders too. Faster than me at least haha.
