Las Palomas

If you like food hot from the oven, this is the place for you. Very tasty and filling. Not the best coffee, the refill was cold. Order a cold drink and your experience will be excellent!

Great service. Chips, salsa and warm bean dip a perfect start.
Enchiladas are perfect, great melted cheese and sauce that does taste like it came from a can.
Now being from San Diego still not sure why any restaurant would use pre-made taco shells like they use at Taco Bell. Still in search of a place that actually fries or heats on a oiled grill fresh taco shells.
Pre-made break, become soggy, and are just tasteless.

I love it here. Great food, selection, prices, service, parking, and shockingly still not super busy. So much to love it is almost hard to write a longer review because there's nothing else to say except, "Yum."

Holy crap. Ordering this late at night from home will never be a regret. They prep the food with care and pay attention to the notes. As a hometown kid from around here, so good.

I wouldn’t recommend the nachos if your going to eat the chips and salsa that they offer.

Never disappointed. Great salsa, excellent refried beans. Love the carne asada. Tortillas are not homemade. If they were, this place would get 5 stars.

The food was beyond delicious. Fresh and hot! The raspberry margarita was the bomb. Staff was amazing, attentive and super friendly. Will be back again.

Just got take out from Las Palomas. I've been there a few times and was never disappointed. I got the Enchilada Suizas with chicken and they were delicious along with black beans and rice. They included a bag of fresh chips and at least 10 ounces of fresh salsa. Sooo, good! To top it off I got the flan and a cup of jamaica. The food was ready when I arrived in the time they said it would be ready. I don't understand the negative reviews of this restaurant. My wife and I both decided to for a late night drink and something to eat for dinner. Drinks were good, over priced for sure!
She ordered a burrito & that was good, I however ordered Ceviche & to say the least. It was terrible! It had so much lemon & the way it was mix with the Guacamole & lots of onions! Was just so grossed I've never had a ceviche that disgusting! I only had two bites of it, the waitress did went to asked and apologized but she did not even bothered to asked if she could bring me a new one. When i got the check to my surprised, I was still charged the normal

So last night we ordered a good amount of Mexican food through Door Dash with you guys and the order was a bit short so the second delivery was extremely generous. We just want to say thanks for the great service and the fast turn around time with our order. My girlfriends family loved the food and we'll be back to order again with Las Palomas!

Pretty good food but horrible service and attitude from most of the staff. waited forever for water or acknowledgement we are there. waitress was snide and short. dropped plates on the table and walked away. we have eaten here probably half a dozen times and each time the only friendly decent person has been the person at the front entry/register. sorry but we gave you a fair shot and you blew it. I never complain about price if the service and food are good. I'll take my business and money elsewhere thank you.

Above all my yelp posts, this is my favorite post above all. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have become friendly/family to me. Elvira, the bartending manager is an amazing person who will make any drink you want and accommodate anything you ask of. I literally come here every wedenday for the company!

Went in for lunch today and ordered chili relleno. I've lived in Los Angeles been all over Mexico and never seen one like this. It was an omelet ( like straight up omelet for breakfast) with a chili inside. Cheese and pureed tomato sauce on top. Totally garbage. None of that fried egg flavor. Not even seasoned. The kids loved their stuff.( Grilled cheese yada, yada,.) I keep going back because it's near where we grocery shop and it's always meh ok. This time I've had it. Rice and bean burrito(JUST rice and beans no meat, not even a side of rice and beans) $13. Figured it'd be max $9. And Everything tasted the same (no flavor and burnt)

First off is the bad impression of bad service. 25 minutes to get chips, salsa, bean dip. Another 5 to get asked for drinks then food. 35 minutes in we ordered. The reason is there appears to be only 2 waitresses during the Lunch Rush.

My wife ordered the Colorado Burrito. Had a light colored red sauce. Was ok tasting but the meat was tough and grisly. Would not order again.


I ordered the 3 way Fajitas. Shrimp beef chicken. The problem with the beef and chicken is its diced small bits of meat. The shrimp was excellent wrapped in bacon. Shrimp was great the rest was trash.

Food was tasty, service was good. Salsa was delicious and the nachos were great. Everything was great there. But, the most amazing part was the phone call I received after the restaurant closed from the owner. He had found my wallet (which i hadn't figured out was missing yet) and called me very concerned that i would need it. He got the phone number from my check book..... and when i went back (long after closing!) He met me and was happy i was able to meet to get it back. He said 'i was surprised to see it just laying in the parking lot because now a days honest people are hard to come

A friend and i stopped in for a beer. We were served chios, salsa & beans.
The beer was VERY COLD!
The chips were light, crisp & vey good.
Salsa was also very good.
Our server was very sweet

Went here this evening. I ordered Carna Asada and husband ordered chicken chimmychanga (splg). Servers were very polite, food was good (portion was big ans was served in a good amount of time). Pricing was also decent. We will definitely be back!

*hours after we got home, we all had very bad gut aches :(
