The salad was amazingly fresh and clear tasting and the salad dressing was wonderful! The bread was quite good and has a little extra special flavor in it.
I had the scallop kabobs (or whatever they're called) and they tasted great and the flavor was very good. The only downfall was afterwards that my nose itched a lot. This is probably due to some kind of meat juice being in the deep fry oil. This is a common symptom I experience at cheap restaurants which I did not expect here.

Well let's start off with our server she was really nice and friendly and attentive. Can't remember her name. But the food and the wait time were terrible. Wife got crab legs and steak, her crab was good, but steak had no flavor and burnt on the edges and top. I had ordered crab and artichoke dip and it was great flavor but they put to many green onions and celery in the dip which I don't even know why it was in there in there first place. It was like a big crunch with a creamy dip which I didn't understand. Than I get my bacon bbq burger and the thing was terrible as well super dry had no flavor

We eat at this McGraths about once a week. For the last few months, the service is absolutely terrible, and they have been out of different items.
They have been out of baked potatoes, chicken strips, and tomatoes for salads and many times the potatoes are under cooked.
The service has been terrible. One time we didn’t get the bread and salads until after the main course came. Another time I ordered a bake potato and they brought French fries.
One time they brought my husband the wrong sandwich. They told him he could eat it and they would bring him the right one. He ate the wrong sandwich

I am not sure why this restaurant does not have a better rating. We just went for the first time and thought it was great. The fish was really good. Nothing fancy, just a great menu of diverse fish dishes and the prices were very reasonable, with good service. Will being going back again soon. Fish and chips, and salad with greens, pears and walnuts were both great dishes.

Made reservations for what was supposed to be a relaxing Thanksgiving meal at McGraths in Salem. Made reservation for 4:30 for 4 of us. Ordered the Thanksgiving turkey dinner for all 4. We were told up front that there would be a 30 minute wait, so we ordered the sample plate of appetizers which came in 15 minutes because we were very hungry. They were overdone but at least we got some food in us. After ONE HOUR, we were told they were out of turkey dinner! So, no place to go, we ordered off the menu. Was there first thing today, wife ordered fish & chips and I the fisherman`s Plater special all you can eat. Either of our meals were good at all more breading than seafood there was NO TASTE AT ALL. We also ordered cocktails my was ok but my wife`s mudslide tasted like straight chocolate milk terrible experience here. The only thing I can say is waiters and staff were very GOOD.

Service is so bad that I'm sitting here during the dinner writing this review. Came here for a birthday dinner. My mom and I did the ayce platter, my sister did the clam strips. I called ahead to see if there's a GF option for the pasta and got told yes. The waitress told me no at the resultant which is fine I did not make a big deal of it because it's not a big deal but how the waitress came and told me about and said 'it is what it is' after I already told her it's ok is so rude. They got my sisters order wrong which didn't even come until we finished our food

1 member of our group became sick after eating odd tasting Cole slaw.
After many hours of gastro distress I called the restaurant to report a possible problem and alleviate future issues.
After speaking to a manager, I was sent an envelope covered in something so nasty the Post Office placed it in a clear plastic bag!
I have never opened it.
Am sending their letter back.

This was my second time here, and I don’t think I’ll be back. It’s expensive and the food is that great. The menu has an awesome selection, but the execution is poor. The flavor is good, but the meant isn’t tender, the vegetables are over cooked, and some foods are extra greasy. I don’t know if that makes sense- the flavor is good but the textures are off. Our server this time- Nicole- was amazing! Two thumbs up for her!

Nice place, very wide variety on the menu and the cocktails are decent. Maybe it’s just me and things have changed, however, I’ve never had the side of coleslaw (you know, that goes with the main dish?) come out early, like an appetizer… it came the same time as the soup…. My family and I used to eat at McGrath's regularly before COVID, and we have a lot of nice memories here, but it's been hard for us to get a table due to limited capacity and our larger party of 6. Ever since then, I've gotten takeout a couple of times. One of my experiences wasn't great and I had to wait about 40 minutes for my order. We had six adults and three children in our party. They would not allow us to sit together so we had to take to opposite tables. Service was mediocre at best. The server was rude when she got the order wrong. While the restaurant didn't seem very crowded it took a long time to get our meal and as I said part of the meal was wrong. Pretty disappointed was looking forward to a good meal and some fellowship but that didn't happen.

Wow! They say they open at 11:30. I am here and I called. I said can you open the front doors. The lady said no we open up when we are ready! Why would the sign say 11:30? That's awful! The hostess could not even open the door. Wrong keys and her long nails got in the way. Others called in too because they opened late. Hostess unprofessional

Wasn't aware that it was a chain but basically the equivalent of red lobster. They had deals for weekdays though. We came on Wednesday and it was a 3 course meal for $14.95. I got chowder, the seafood combo, and Marionberry pie. Chowder was fine, nothing special. The seafood combo came with fish, shrimp, and mushrooms in crazy rich, buttery sauce. Then the pie came out and we were al expecting one piece of pie but no we each got a whole skillet dish of pie with several scoops of ice cream. Crazy crazy deal, but food was just okay.

I called today to speak to the manager about how my order was incorrect. He advised me to contact DoorDash directly and I said that I would, however, my entire family isn't going to wait another hour for me to get my replacement dinner. He continued to get frustrated with me and told me they bagged the order doordash gave them. I know that is a lie considering I was looking at my receipt and it's obvious some else's order was put into my bag, and we were missing a meal, salad, and appetizer.

I had dinner with some of family members here reside in the Salem, OR, area during my visit to the area for vacation. We deliberated over options and settled on McGrath's. We started with calamari (not pictured). It was delicious and it was some of their first time trying it. I had the Salmon, rice, and veggies. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the rice was delicious, but the carrots were a little undercooked. For dessert, I had the pumpkin cheesecake. We enjoyed a nice dinner here with some friends. We started our meal with my favorite... sourdough bread. It was served warm and soft with whipped butter. Next was a house salad. Fresh and good sized. I ordered my dressing on the side. I had the STUFFED PRAWNS $18.79 (Butterflied Prawns stuffed with a Seafood Mixture and Baked. Topped with Lobster Beurre-Blanc.) I loved it!
