5 stars to 1 (should be zero). They were supposed to tune the boat. Stated that they couldn't, due to compression test outside of limits. I tested the compression before I gave them the boat- within specs. Tested again with 2 other test sets - all stated within specs. Either they can't do a simple compression test, or they flat out lied to me. Retrieved the boat. Technician note stated "Boat too old - not worth it" ...I was restoring the old boat to putter on. I guess they are too snooty to work on anything other than newer boats. Don't bother with them. They USED to be good, but something changed

They are a dishonest boat repair dealer.Nice and friendly when you first come in the start lying to you from the moment they tell you they can fix your boat to the price. They can't even give you a ballpark price. They just want cart blanch card to rip you off and just throw parts at your engine to see if it fits.Last 3 years their bill was always $200 over estimate. Then when you tell them to stop working on it you have to pay cash cause they don't trust you to pay cause of their bad integrity. The place started to be bad after the new ownersSteve and Heather took over.Ther mechanic Mike

After 6 weeks they finally looked at my boat to fix an oil leak and told me they need to pull the engine to fix it. 1 week later the boat is still sitting untouched and their mechanic has an attitude because I would like to know when it will be fixed. He tells me that is not they way they do business, they will fix it when they can.
Very unprofessional in the way they treat customers and seem to not care if the same customer ever uses them again, which I will not

Delt with Mike the service manager, not only was he rude not sure how smart he is. I knew more about how the starter solenoid works then he did. He told me swap the 2 leads for the battery and the starter. Solenoids are magnetic switches. Swapping those leads won't make a difference to the solenoid, but that was his suggestion besides bringing it in for service. I will take my business elsewhere!

I have been doing business with D's marine for four years. I purchased fuel from them consistently during that time. I had a half tank of fuel, which I purchased from them and before heading out to make a long run through the chain decided to top off my tank. An hour later my 2017 Monterey would hardly run. When I poured fuel from filter it had water in it. We had been running on the half tank every day about 15 - 20 minutes. They denied there was any way the water could have come from them and ended up charging me over $700 to correct it. They would even consider helping me out with

My grandparents know Jerry. Been coming here since I was just a kid. Been using their services for 10 years since getting my own boat. Top notch customer service and Patrick, their service manager is one of the best. Fair, honest and up front. Everything about the facility and service is second to none. The techs are amazing and is all overseen by a very involved owner. Highly recommend D's to all my friends!

TERRIBLE! Wish we never brought our boat to D's - Paul will repeatedly lie to you and tell you he is working on your boat and will not touch it. 'It will be done tomorrow'. Weeks will go by. While you are at the shop note how he treats his employees - couldn't be ruder, constantly yelling. Our boat sat at D's for a month before we opted to bring it elsewhere & the simple issue was fixed in a DAY. Read the yelp reviews that are 'hidden' - they are very accurate! I would hate for someone else to experience the unnecessary stress I went through.

My boat ran really rough so I brought it here and was terribly disappointed. First without looking to fix the problem, they changed the gear oil, both fuel filters, water separator filter, and air filter right off the bat. The air filter is a metal mesh filter so I'm not really sure why they changed that when you can clean it out. Then it sat in the yard for 3 weeks before they test drove it and put it on the computer diag. Paul says, "you have a cylinder out, I'm gonna clean the fuel injectors." They were clean and that did nothing. Then it sat in the yard for another

We've taken our boat to D's for 10 years. The last few years the service level and knowledge have taken a huge hit. We would be told our boat would be looked at a certain day (first come first served as it should be), and often over the last few years it went 2 to 3 weeks beyond what was promised. The newer mechanics are not honest or very knowledgeable either. A major step was missed when putting my boat back together and a part fell off in the water. Instead of owning up to his mistake, he lied. A deckhand where we launched that day told us (after we returned and the part was

Jerry Danko, the owner, was a neighbor of ours while I was growing up. My grandparents only used D's marine for years and were friends with the Danko's in a snowmobile club. Jerry is a top notch mechanic and his guys are awesome too. I bought my boat in 2007 and now that I'm all grown up, these are the only people I will allow to work on my boat. I rented a slip from them for a couple seasons, but as the economy turned in 2008 I had to scale back. I still have them do any motor work needed. They are not cheap by any means, but you generally get what you pay for so I don&apos

We kept our boat at D's Marine last summer and plan on keeping it there again this summer. Heather and Sage in the front office are always friendly and willing to help with any of my new boater questions. Being that I'm new to boating and bought a used boat, I've also had a few experiences with the service department. Their names are escaping me right now, but the 2 older gentlemen are no nonsense kind of guys that know their stuff. Exactly the kind of people I want to deal with! In my experience they were fair on price and repairs were completed in an acceptable amount of time.
