Worst experience ever, I never got updates I always had to call and chase them down to get updates that they made up, wanted to charge me 4 times the amount of the original estimate and didn’t even call me for approval on going 4 times the original amount. Also keep in mind they will drag on your stuff and old man try’s to act hard when he gets confronted.

They take for ever and drag on giving you updates also keep in mind during all the dangers of COVID no one there wear a mask in the shop or the office. I’m pretty sure the state requires business to wear and enforce mask and 6 feet

Took my banshee cylinders there, called a month in and they said the would be done in a week, call 2 months in they said by the end of the week, I finally pick them up undone sitting in the same place they put them 4 moths ago taking somewhere else

My Boat still runs great after 10 years ago Ateco rebuilt and modified
my motors!!!!!!!!
I gained just over 12 miles per hour after they put blowers on my boat
with fresh 540's
these guys really know how to build motors and tuned my motors in !!!!!
They take the time to make my boat FAST!!!!!!!

This guys sounded good to talk to on the phone. Stay away he took 10 weeks getting my motor done and would not answer phone. I had to drive there to see when he was going to get the motor done when I did get it broke in a day then I had to bring it back. He charged me again I will never go to BACK

Ateco built a pair of 1000 hp boat engines that ran flawlessly. If big power is good, more is better right? So I asked them to build a pair of 1300 hp engines. 598 cubic inch supercharged engines. My only complaint is they made so much power I destroyed a Number Six outdrive and two expensive props over the 3 years I owned the boat. Great company to deal with. Ateco engines make serious horsepower!
