Dr Lopez was rude, belittled me and shrugged off everything I said concerning my sons eye. He told me basically the steps I had taken before coming to see him were a waste of time and ineffective. Questioned the medicine I gave my own son even though I told him it was helping the problem. He also talked down about my pediatrician and another specialist I saw and their opinions. Seemed as if being in that office is the last place he wants to be. I felt bad for the intern shadowing him, I hope he turns out nothing like Dr Lopez. I WILL NOT be returning and will tell anyone with children NOT to go

I give Dr. Lopez 5 stars. He is great with kids. The last 2 appointments I had brought my daughter to the office didn't have her in the computer even though both times I was given an appointment card with the date and time which they demanded I show them. When I told them this has happened twice now they didn't even acknowledge what I had said and ignored me. So I give them 1 star for being unprofessional. It is unfortunate we had to drive so far to be seen and then have to wait until all other appointments were done to be seen by the doctor because of the same mistake the office made.

My daughter has a turn in her eye when she focuses on things up close and it's going to be like that for the rest of her life. I've taken her to Hess since she was born, she's now 9.
I kept informing him over the years that his prescriptions are not helping at all, her eye constantly turns but he assured me in time the muscle would strengthen and it could normalize.
I persisted on asking about strabismus surgery and he continuously told me it would make things worse.
Since moving out of the area and speaking with several other opticians, they have all told me that strabismus when she was younger

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Roland. Dr. Roland has been seeing my daughter for several years but when my son had a weird symptom and the ER said he needed to see a eye specialist there was no hesitation but to say Dr. Roland. She seen my son within days of his symptoms and has been seeing him very frequently for 2 years solid. I call us her frequent flyer patient. Dr. Roland has been absolutely amazing with treating my son and is always on the phone with his rheumatologist before I can even call to make sure my son is getting the best treatment. My son Aiden just had surgery a week ago with Dr.Elliott he was amazing with him in the intial examine since my son is only 5 not the best to keep him still.Dr.Elliott did all kinds of cute techniques to get him focused.Before my son went into surgery Dr.Elliott talked to me and addressed all my concerns.A couple days after the surgery ,I had some concerns the doctor called me back IMMEDIATELY and offered to call me on Saturday to check in on him.I told him I didn't want to bother him on a weekend being I'm sure that is his only time off,He said not worry about him.That his only concern was for

Dr. Rolland (Odessa location) is fabulous with my son. She’s patient, kind and able to do exam in a way to make it enjoyable for a 4-5yo. Odessa office is much closer for us than St. Pete location which is why we chose it. Only downside is it’s not open every day, but we love Dr. Rolland so we just book 6 months in advance.

Dr. Josh is phenomenal! He’s been seeing our now 10 month old for a few months and he’s great with her. He’s so knowledgeable and really takes the time to answer all questions & make sure you understand everything. We always leave this office feeling confident with the treatment for our child. The office staff is very kind weather we call in or see them in person. The wait time hasn’t been bad, we’ve always been in and out within an hour. HIGHLY recommend.
