This is the only place I bring my car now, and I recommend to all my friends. Very honest business, very reasonable pricing for repairs. Every time I bring my car here, they have it done same day! When you call, you get Rick on the phone every time.

Cody is the honest, dedicated, caring mechanic that we trust. It is hard to find someone we can trust to work on our car but he always make a time for you to check your car no matter how busy he is. Never want anyone else to check our vehicles but Cody! Recommended for thorough check by him for anything with prompt service with reasonable price!

These guys are one of Columbus's best kept secrets. Working with them is like working with family! They take care of you as if your car is their own. Mike is a guru with several decades of experience. Cody is a highly competent craftsman, and Rick is a confident leader.

First off Cody Newman is the man! A well respected and highly knowledgeable staff that does great work and service. I took my 2009 Audi A4 in for a diagnostic. Cody managed to find the root of my problem and ordered the part right then and there. I was able to drive my car out of the shop that afternoon saving $500+ that Audi would've charged me for parts and labor.

I went here to have my rear brakes replaced recently, and these guys did an awesome job! Cody was very friendly and taught me a little bit about what he was doing. They didn't have one part that was needed, so they just called and ordered it from down the street. Very quick and easy.
The entire job took about an hour and was at a MUCH better price than any place closer to OSU campus. I called around to the other big names (read: Monro, Buckeye Complete Auto Care, etc..) and Rick's #1 Auto easily beat them by $100.
Definitely go here if your car needs service!! If the need arises

I am so impressed by this shop. I have an 03' Nissan and the alternator was giving out so I took it in to Rick's. Mike offered to help me. Not only did he drive me back to my place, he picked me up when my car was ready. He loves to help people with their cars and it definitely shows. Mike won't nickel and dime you-- he's just an honest dude. Took around an hour and half to switch out the alternator. Super fast and hella honest service. I am definitely going back again.

Rick's is a solid shop that delivers quality service and trustworthy work. Rick and Mike know what they are doing, and I can always trust that they are giving me good advice. I have actually asked about recommended scheduled maintenance and they've told me when it's necessary or unnecessary. I would never buy a used car without taking it to them for an inspection first. We've been using Rick's for many years, and now several other family members and friends are loyal customers as well.
