Was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding which required 2 dresses, a traditional dress and an Indian dress (Anarkalis). The traditional dress only needed to be hemmed, however, the Anarkalis' sleeves were so tight in both the dress and overcoat. With only 2 1/2 weeks to the wedding I was stressed about being able to get the necessary adjustments made and if was possible to alter the Anarkalis accordingly!
I called ahead to inquire about the adjustments and timeline I needed it in and the lady who answered the phone was very informative and assured me they would be able to make the adjustments in

Very kind staff and quick turn around. Unfortunately the work looks rushed. I brought in a very simple 1 layer dress and hem is uneven and shaggy, the button they added to the bust is visible from the front of the dress, crooked, and does not stay clasped. VERY expensive especially considering the poor quality. Lee’s Alterations was very disappointing and I would not recommend.

I had a few really terrible experiences when trying to alter my wedding dress. I decided to leave the place I had been going my whole life and try out Lee's based on some referrals from a few friends. They were so kind and helpful. They came up with ways to alter that no one else had, and then pinned and re-pinned until I was completely satisfied. I will never go anywhere else. They work fast, they work hard and they do an amazing job!

I have gone to Lee's many years for my alteration needs. The work is always professionally done. My clothing looks beautifully tailored. The prices are expensive and there is never a price list anywhere which makes me wonder if they just make the prices up sometimes. I have stopped taking everyday clothing and only take clothing that is required for a special occasion due to their expensive rates. For instance I bought a summer dress for $20.00, that needed to be let out 2 inches. I was charged $50.00. I really love the dress😊. So, I stopped taking things like that. To be a customer for over

GO ELSEWHERE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! Prior to Mr Lee's wife running this alterations shop it was a great place. Since she has 'taken over' a couple of months ago, this alterations shop has taken a turn for the WORST! The work has been absolutely terrible and the timeline is substantially slower. I won't even get pants hemmed here anymore. The service has gotten worse AND it takes 3x longer! I own a clothing line and spent over $3000 last year alone in alterations and sent MULTIPLE clients to this place. I am DISGUSTED at the way she runs this shop, speaks to customers

In one week they altered a full-sequined two piece dress for me. It looks like it was hand made for me. A bit pricey, but for the amount of work (hem, taking in skirt, shortening drapes on top) on a full sequin dress, I can't complain. When items cost a lot to begin with, I'm happy to pay to make sure they fit properly.

We walked in with my daughters prom dress without an appt. They pinned it and had it ready in 5 days. Prices are extremely reasonable AND they give you a printed receipt before you leave so you know exactly what the cost is BEFORE They do the work. Very friendly and conveniently located on San Jose Blvd (across from the old Kmart at Kori Rd). Definitely my go to place for all alterations and recommended to everyone I know.

Called the owner and told him that I really need my suit pants altered during the weekend. He told me to go in and he'll get it fixed for me. I went in there and out in less than 30 minutes. Lee is fantastic! Everyone in the shop has years of experience and they truly love their craft. He has made a couple of suits fit perfectly for me. He has great style and is very thorough when doing fittings. Also, they make sure that you get exactly what you wanted, and won't charge you more if you tell them that their work isn't perfect.
Overall great local, family business that deserves yours! Don't go anywhere else, even if another place is a little bit cheaper.

I got multiple things altered here when I was younger and lived in the area, so when I needed a dress for a wedding I was attending altered I knew just where to go. They are always friendly and very fast. Most importantly they are reasonably priced! I had a dress taken in (including adjusting the elastic) for less than $35. Thank you Lees Alterations!!

This is the second prom dress that needed alterations (last year we went to another tailor/seamstress) but we decided to go to Lee's because it was very close to home and had a few good reviews that recommended their work AND their prices. Well we will DEFINITELY recommend Lee's to others and use them in the future. We arrived without an appointment and had a "fitting" on the spot. The person who wrote the review below mine, MUST be talking about a different alteration place because Lee and his wife do the BEST job with alterating literally everything and anything you need! I have been coming to this place since I was about 6 years old... I am now 22 and still refuse to go anywhere else. They have altered every school uniform since kindergarten, as well as countless casual dresses and skirts, and formal dresses too! This is the WORST place to get alterations done. They rushed my fitting and didn't even help me zip up my dress properly, they safety pinned it shut so no surprise they took the dress in way too much. I asked the lady to take the bust about half an inch and she obviously wasn't listening and took the entire bodice-waist and bust in almost three inches! It's a nightmare, especially because my dress is for my daughter's wedding on Sunday and they gave me my ruined dress on Wednesday. Needless to say my daughter and I are in panic mode due to this whole ordeal. This is a HUGE disappointment
