This is the best place for alterations! Let me tell you guys, I had a wedding dress that needed some serious alterations done. Mary did not hesitate and worked so hard to make my dress perfect. She is such a sweet and kind hearted person and she worked with me from the beginning to the end. She has the patience of a Saint. I love her!! I highly recommend this place! I read a couple of the negative reviews and will say they all appear to be from the same family. If you have a bad experience, then you should leave a review. However, to have your family leave a bad review on your behalf is borderline

Mary did a great job with my suit. It was so big all over me, and she did a recut. I tried to go to several other places. They were all pricy, and they were not gonna have my suit ready on time. I called Mary and she did not hesitate to help. She is very nice, friendly, and she has really reasonable prices. I’m so satisfied with her service and I will definitely definitely be back. I recommend famous Mary alternation to anyone. Thank you!

I’ve brought in clothes to be fitted, chairs to be covered, a quilt to be patched, and vintage clothing needing a touch up because I refuse to let it go… let me tell you, she is amazing! Very polite, considerate, and helpful. I trust her decisions and judgements. I’m not the professional, she is. She never disappoints. I don’t know how I managed before her. Now, that I’ve found her I can’t imagine being without her. Trust me when I say I won’t be going anywhere else but her. I love her and her work. Thank you so much!

I sent my 16 year old sister here, she purchased a 9 dollar shirt from target and just needed to shorten the sleeves. she was charged $25.00 for an estimate. the estimate was $80!!! my little sis paid in good faith using cash and i went back to request a refund and this woman called the police on me. my little sister and i were shocked at the lack of customer service she provided.

I came here because i needed a shirt alteration. I came in & she asked what i needed, I told her I needed my shirt altered, she asked by when, and i responded. She told me to put it on and proceeded to pin my shirt. Once she finished, she gave me my estimate ($80) i told her i had to call somebody before making my decision and i stepped right outside. I went back inside and she stated itd be a $25 fee for the fitting or $65 for the fitting and alteration. I was indecisive but ultimately chose no. I am the maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding. Due to some unforeseen challenges. I received my dress just 21 days before I had to leave for the wedding. I took it to Mary a couple days later (couldn’t come sooner due to work) and I told her what I needed done and when it was needed by. She never second guessed helping me and taking on my dress with the short time frame. She altered the straps, hemmed the dress and added a bra and the dress was ready earlier than I needed! She is amazing and just the sweetest! I highly recommend seeing her for anything you need done! She is just the best

EXCELLENT ALTERATIONS!!! I ordered my bridal gown online because I couldnt find the style and color locally. When it arrived it was 2 sizes to small, plus the crinoline underskirt was to long. Mary replaced the back zipper with a corset, added a pocket and shortened my underskirt perfectly. I received so many compliments on my dress and I couldnt be happier with the alterations! THANK YOU SO MUCH MARY!!!

I wanted to share my experience today at Famous Mary Alterations. Its been pretty stressful as of late (huge last minute deployments etc) and I had to sew name tapes on my uniform today. Uniform shop on base has a 2 week waiting list, it's a mess everywhere due to businesses closing. Mary sewed my uniform name tapes on the spot and then didn't even charge me. As a small business probably losing considerable business due to COVID-19, I was touched by that gesture and wanted to share and recommend. Thank you so much!
