There's a reason when I have cause to be far from home and near this deli that I make a beeline for its front door - absolutely some of the best sandwiches anywhere. If you're a fan of Bay Cities Deli in Santa Monica, you'll equally love this place. Top off a great deli with great Italian grocery items, there's a reason these folks have been here for at least the 35 years I've known about them.

This place is THE BEST. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid because my grandma lives near it and they have the best everything. Their roast beef sandwiches are amazing, the bread is the best you’ve ever tasted (get the hard roll trust me), and their cannolis are the only ones I will eat, no others have ever lived up to the ones at italia deli. You can tell how great the food is by how packed it always is, so it’s best to call your order in on the phone ahead of time.

Discovered italia from a friend of mine as well as seeing it and googling it and checking out the reviews and comments.
pretty much one of the best delis and sandwich places in the greater LA area, if you dig soft italian rolls. bay cities in santa monica, which i also love, is fantastic, but their fresh baked bread is harder. not a bad thing, but if you are craving a soft roll, italia's is the one to beat
it's usually busy here so i recommend calling your order in and picking it up. i make it a weekly ritual to come here now when i am out in agoura hills on mondays. i have had the italian cold

My Italian cousin stayed with me for a month and we shared with us some recipes that she likes. So our weekly visit to Italia Deli & Bakery has been part of our weekend itinerary so she can cook in 2days for the family. The sauces, pasta, cheeses, and breads became staple in our kitchen. We love the experience, and thank Italia Deli & bakery for the complete and always fresh line up of ingredients.

Me and my partner really make efforts to shop and dine together as we enjoy the shopping for freshly baked breads, both soft and hard, the Italian sauces, the frozen veggies, cheeses and spices. We also wait to be served with the best Italian cold cuts sandwich (soft roll version). Usually busy place, be patient as most of the time the line is long, but don't worry, the servers work in fast pace.

I was so disappointed. I used their website and found it very user unfriendly. I only get 30 minutes for lunch. I placed my order at 12:05 I arrived at 12:58 and my order still had not been made. I was told to take a number and if my order was not completed by the time they called my number it would be completed at that time. They called my number, there was at least 6-7 people before me, my order had still not been started. Once my 2 small sandwich order was prepared, I took my them and hurried back to work arriving past the 30 minutes I was allowed for my lunch. I will probably return in the

A fantastic local gem. This deli/bakery also consist of a small authentic Italian market. On my visit during lunch time there was a line to the door with patrons buying sandwiches and picking up fresh goods. I tried the porchetta sandwich which I consider to to be one of their signature dishes. It is the only place locally I am aware of you can buy one.
The sandwich was amazing. Juicy, flavorful, humongous and placed on a fresh buttery hard roll. A soft roll is also an option, if that is your preference. Parking is plentiful and the service is efficient. There was a small army of staff making
