The key to HVAC design in our area, here in the East Bay, is to cool your home with, more air flow, more efficiency, more efficiently and with more balance according to your comfort needs. We have worked on many different brands from various vintages, as I like to call them. Roof top package units that are used for commercial buildings get a lot of run time use. We have a goal of repairing and keeping these units maintained and in working order as much as possible or as needed.

When it comes to New construction, it is critical that efficient Heating and Cooling systems are installed correctly the first time, every time. We are currently engaged in several new construction projects such as custom home builds, home additions and remodels. At TRI-CITY Heating & Air we work efficiently and deliver promptly to support new construction completion in a timely fashion.

Duct cleaning can usually be a very profitable business. On the surface, you might ask, who wouldn't want clean or cleaner ducts? Without going into how I received Tri-City's name as an exceptional referral, I have found Tri-City to be one of the top vendors I have had the pleasure to work with all of my years of calling on vendors. As a former commercial property manager, I have encountered many vendors (with no shortage of HVAC vendors). Try-City was extremely professional, knowledgeable, clean, friendly, etc. In a field of companies just taking people's money because their "flux capacitor" is broken, Tri-City is a breath of fresh air.

Terrible communication! We had an HVAC unit put in by Tri-City. They never pulled the permit. I asked about it later since it was required and the owner just said that he always discusses this beforehand, which he never did. Why would I want to do this? I asked him for his help in getting it, even offering to pay. Instead, he just stopped returning calls or emails. I had to do it myself. Once the work is done with these guys and they're paid, that's it! You'll never get them back on the phone to correct anything.

To add insult to injury I can't say enough about the incompetentacy of the work that was done on my 90% 3 stage modulating system. Tri City came out in Sept and supposedly changed out the heater coil (BIG $$$$) because of an air flow problem. To my surprise they did NOT change out the heater coil at all....They replace the AC coil which is totally different than the heater coil, aka heat exchanger. Today I had a knowledgeable company called Blue Star come to my home and cleaned the Heat Exchanger/Coil. Now I have a fully functioning system except for the EAC Tri City took, along with my washable

Okay I needed advice on whether to replace my ~12 year old HVAC system since the furnace is in the attic and I am planning a re-roof soon. Steve called me back and methodically went through what I had going on with my current system, (return air ducts, filtration, etc.) He did not pressure me to buy and we came to the conclusion not to replace the unit at this time. He did give multiple suggestions and appreciated advice! A good 20 minutes or more of his time on the phone helping an old retiree out! When it does come time to replace I will be using Tri-City. After doing a lot of research and getting estimates from multiple companies and seeing how each company approaches the job of selecting the right equipment, sizing, and putting in a new HVAC system for a 2 story house, we chose TRI-CITY and are thrilled we did. When Steve came out and reviewed our old system and made his recommendations he explained everything in a way that we could understand and he quickly built trust with us and HE DELIVERED!

104 outside, and our air conditioner decided to stop blowing cold air. After trying to figure out the problem ourselves, we gave a Steve a call. He sent out David & Jacob the next morning, and they had it fix in under 30 minutes!! Thank you Tri-City for both your quick response, and your professionalism in fixing our air conditioner! There should be 10 stars for this company! Our system failed after 25 years of faithful service (and of course, it chose to fail during a heat wave). We were fortunate to have been referred to Tri-City. They squeezed us in, assessed our needs and gave us a fair price for replacing the entire system. Steve was absolutely solid in his ability to recommend a new unit that we would be happy with for the next 25 years. We felt very confident in his suggestions and pricing.

Like most people, I only decided it was time to fix my air conditioning during the hottest and busiest time of the year for HVAC companies. I originally went on Home Advisor to look at company ratings, and ended up being spammed by several companies I didn't even look at or request contact from. I ended up using one of the company's free diagnostic services, but I felt like their estimate was going to be ripping me off.

Fantastic service and fair pricing.
My upstairs and downstairs A/C units were not blowing cold air and the guys at Tri-City assessed the problem quickly and fixed everything in about an hour. Steve and David know their stuff and they're very transparent about they work they do. Highly recommend them.

Anyone that has had to have any HVAC/AC&R work done on their home knows what a crap shoot it can be to find a "HONEST, RELIABLE AND COMPETITIVELY PRICED" company. After getting burnt by another local thief, I made several calls and heard many good things about TRI-CITY. Steve has a very smart crew working with him. They replaced all the duct work under the house. The system now blows 3 to 4 time the amount air from the vents! This repair will pay for it self in less then 2 years!
