Soon after selling his successful business AAP Racing, Chris Anderson formed ARD (Anderson Racing Development) Motorsports in Flowery Branch, GA. Like AAP Racing, ARD would center around customer satisfaction, timeliness and quality work. The shop focused mainly on Mopar and Toyota Performance upgrades but serviced all makes and models as well as boats in the two lift facility.
In 2012 ARD continued to grow at a steady pace, Viper and Supra business was strong but requests for classic car restoration and custom body modifications were increasing. Wasting no time Chris doubled the shop size and dedicated the new area to classic vehicle restoration and bodywork. To head up the new branch of ARD Motorsports Chris brought in Tim Brenneman, an extremely talented restoration, paint and bodywork craftsman.

Pre-Covid literally a wk or two before it hit, My fiancé had his Toyota 4-Runner towed to ARD for mechanical issues. It wasn't turning over and hadn't been cranked in several I mean several months. We naturally assumed it was the battery or worse case scenario the alternator. ARD received the vehicle, and performed their "standard check" and it was determined to be the battery and battery candles that needed to be replaced. My fiancé's mother was the point of contact as he works during the day and couldn't have personal calls. She was told the problem but misunderstood

I brought my very expensive classic there because previous work was done to the vehicle that spent a lot of money on the vehicle before I purchased it. This is the type of place that wants to see how much your willing to spend and then rack up a huge tab and suggest things you don't even need to make sure the invoice is as high as possible. Suggested hydraboost brakes for a car with a 350 small block engine but me being a little less knowledgeable in what I needed, agreed to it along with 5k dollars worth of other work. I cannot recommend anyone, especially Viper owners, to do business with ARD Motorsports. I had part of the engine rebuilt on my 2006 Dodge Viper by ARD Motorsports to the tune of $21k for a new spare engine, parts, labor, and after about 4,000 miles or less, the motor has failed again on the parts they fixed causing a catastrophic engine failure. Here I am facing another 10k rebuild on something that was supposed to last me a long time based on their promises. It took ARD Motorsports over four months from June to November, with false promises, excuses, and me having to constantly call for updates

Huge shoutout to Armand to sticking to his word and quote. I had my 2019 F-150 5.0 with Long tube headers and an intake tuned on their dynojet on 93 octane. I came in with 401whp and 399lb-tq and left with 428whp and 434lb-tq. I came in with a flash tune from 5 star tuning and had problems since the beginning and kept having to get revisions. I called ARD and gained a ton of knowledge and was set up for a dyno appointment within a week. Thank you again ARD and I will be returning for future upgrades and tunes!

ARD! My home for all my repairs and upgrades. These guys work hard and never come short of perfection. The have the most upmost respect and care. I don't trust many shops with my cars, but ARD did a great job on my Viper. They fixed an issue with the car starting, threw in a new window regulator (unfortunately common in Vipers!), and also put on some Eibach lowering springs I had been too lazy to install. Finished the car up with some fluids all around, including suggesting brake + clutch fluid when noticing it looked super dark! They took great care of the car, and were very responsive in keeping me up to date with progress. Would recommend!

I had ARD perform a PPI on a viper I bought recently. Jake was very helpful and went out of his way to help me out. The PPI was very thorough and I'm very glad I had this shop perform it. If I wasn't 1,000+ miles away I'd have these guys work on my cars. If you are in the Atlanta area, or Georgia/Northern Florida for that matter, I highly recommend them.
