Unfortunately, our New Year trip was totally ruined because of multiple house issues, it couldn’t be worse:
1.The house floors and countertops were dirty, lots of dust, tons of someones hair under the bed,in the corners, on the bathrooms floor. The company proposed us to send someone next day to clean. But the house supposed to be cleaned BEFORE we arrived! Because of the COVID we didn't want anyone to come, so we had to clean everything ourselves instead of enjoying the time in the house we paid for $3,441. There was no kitchen towels.
Be aware of spiders in the house!

SCAM!!!! I booked a cabin from 12.30.21 to 1.02.22 through VRBO. My credit card was charged, rental agreement sent to me, virtual verification email was sent to me, check in and check out email we sent to me, then..... I get a text a couple hours later saying my cabin wasn't reserved and they could only offer me another one for $350 more per night or cancel my original reservation for a cabin that wasn't, available?! Total scammers.
I also checked the CA Department of Real Estate website and I don't see Big Bear Lakefront Cabins as a licensed property management company.

We rented Yogi Bears Den and Claire was very helpful, making the entire process very easy. The cabin is absolutely amazing!! It is accurately described with a perfect Moonridge location, an awesome layout with bunkroom and an incredible game room that kept our group entertained for hours. The jacuzzi was a much enjoyed treat at the end of each day on the slopes. The cabin’s kitchen had everything we needed and more, there was an abundance of movies to choose from and a Roku TV in each room. Our 3 night stay consisted of views, nice weather, and fun.
The cabin itself was very welcoming. It gave a home feel throughout our stay. The second floor was our watering hole, and our party of ten adults were very satisfied with the number of beds, blankets, and room.
As cold as it was for us coming from Palm Springs area, the heaters were fully functional. Our drive to the market and to fun activites such as Magic Mountain weren't too far, leaving more time to enjoy at the cabin.

My family & I are staying in the Racoon's Nest to celebrate my son's 9th birthday and we're having an incredible time! Our cabin has more then enough room for our large family (7) and the views are breath-taking. There's something for everyone: Close walk to marina for boat rentals, private hot tub (2) & the kids love playing horseshoes. There are even plenty of restaurants close by. The staff here is great and we'll definitely be back!

We loved our stay, our kids had so much fun skiing. The reservation people are super nice and extends our late check out until 1pm instead of 11am. We were so close to the slope and bear mountain ski. We will definitely book again with Big bear lake front cabins.

We stayed at the Snowmass Ln cabin.
We absolutely fell In love with this beautiful very well maintained cabin. It had plenty of space for our family of 4 including the dog. Super fun games a great kitchen that has all the Essentials and more ( which sadly a lot of other cabins we rented in the past had barely any basic kitchen items)
It’s was also super clean.
Big Bear lakefront cabins responded immediately with any question I had either via phone call or the easy to use app. The check-in and check out was very easy and uncomplicated ♥️

We decided to have a family mini get away at the last minute and I googled and googled. I was thinking of sticking to an AirB&B but decided to go through Big Bear Lakefront Cabins because of the reviews that kept popping up. It was such a breeze to use their website and find a cabin that would suit our needs. When we arrived to the cabin it was beyond what we could have imagined. It was so clean and they had everything we needed besides food and beach towels. I will never again go through an AirB&B but through this rental company when we plan our next family trip. If you are looking for clean cabin this is not what they offer.Ants are in the whole kitchen.No aircondition also.They renting cabin with out garage but it doesn't say in the ad that someone leaves there so the owner keeps their stuff there.The fridge goes off the power all the time so your food gets worm.Stinks in the whole cabin.We told the property manager at the front desk that is very dirty outside nobody cleaned before we got there.they told us inside is clean not to worry but No it was Not Clean at all .dining room table dirty and all the rugs in the whole house filled with dust. I think the name of our cabin is Lakefront Hideaway. This was my birthday weekend & one of our dogs is turning 15, too… So we needed to celebrate. We got here late Fri night & when we woke up on Sat with a straight view of the lake & sunrise, we knew we made the right choice. Had a morning stroll along the water with a pup, coffee in the coffeemaker & our day was off to a great start. The cabin is not luxurious but has everything you need.
