Hello, my name is Jesse Foley. I have been professionally trained as an illustrator, fine artist, and visionary painter. My passion however, is tattooing. For most of us, we get what we get, genetics and luck determining what the world sees. I am in a unique position to use my talent and training to help others let what they feel on the inside, be reflected on the outside.
My name is Rafael aka Mr. Typewriter. 2020 will mark 9 years I've been tattooing. I've worked predominantly as a walk-in artist for shops so I am not limited to any one style of tattooing although my specialty is lettering or anything with line work. I lean toward preferring black and grey pieces but I also like color tattoos.

I got my nose pierced at Lucky 7 and had an awesome experience! I told my piercer, Mr. Cat, that I was nervous and his demeanor and professionalism immediately put me at ease. He made me feel so comfortable by working with me to find the perfect location for the piercing, cracking jokes and asking me about myself, and telling me how well I did when it was all over. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a welcoming and professional place to get pierced. This is a wonderful wonderful shop.

I recently visited Lucky 7 tattoo studio in West Hartford and was very pleased with the service that I was provided. This is my first piercing outside of earlobes that I had gotten when I was younger, and I was very nervous and naïve to the process of nose piercings. Mr. Cat made me feel very comfortable, he explained every detail of the process thoroughly and was overall professional and friendly. Before the piercing started he attempted to calm me by having me deep breath and once the piercing started and I started to scream he remained calm and encouraging with me and continued to have me deep

I got my nose piercing jewelry changed at lucky 7 tattoo. The service was really great but after just a day they were irritating my fully healed piercings. When I tried to make a follow up appointment I could not get in touch with the studio. I went to another body piercing shop to get them changed again and they informed me that the jewelry was really bad quality and was put in horribly.

A friend and I went to Lucky Seven for a navel and nipple piercings and we couldn’t have been happier! We both had such a positive, clean, easy-going experience. Carl (AKA “Mr. Cat”) did both our piercings and made it so comfortable and easy for us. He is super personable and knowledgeable! Both of our piercings are doing great, too. We’d definitely recommend to anyone and would easily make the drive down from Vermont to Lucky Seven again!
