Came here because of the good reviews, was not disappointed. Cleve did an informal appraisal of my items and didn't charge me a cent. Replaced 4 of my watches' batteries in an instant. Had a bracelet and gold chain repaired and they came out like new with a quick turnaround time and fair price. He's a straight shooter, efficient, friendly, and most importantly a professional with a good sense of humor. Plan on having him make a custom ring and will post a review after that experience.

I took my wedding ring in to have a the diamond replaced and then to have 3 rings resized. I was told it would take a week and be a certain amount. I was going to be in the area so I called to see if they were ready. They were and I was even charged less than originally told. I definitely recommend and will continue to go there for my jewelry needs.

There is a reason why this place has all 5 star reviews - because they earn and deserve every one. I stopped in to replace the battery in my watch, Cleve couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Grabbed my watch, immediately took it in the back and had it working again in less than 5 minutes. He'll give you marital advice too! Will absolutely be back with all of my future business - thanks so much, we'll be back with my wife's wedding ring soon!

Poor service. The business closes earlier than it's posted hours. E sure you call them first appears they close when they want with no accountability to the public for the hours they post as being available for service....

We decided to get a custom ring made after every ring we saw in big jewelry stores just wasn't right. Plus big stores charge an arm and a leg. American jewelers was able to create exactly what we wanted and at a great price! We will be getting our wedding bands from here as well.

This place is quick, cost effective and friendly! Don't let the small appearance fool you from the outside. The work I needed on a specialty ring was completed very nicely and some touch up work that I wasn't expecting was also done. Strongly recommend you give this 'small town' atmosphere a try!

Had a spectacular visit. I was almost missed them. But I called when I was a few minutes down the road and they waited! Got Quite a bit of money for my old coins. They rest I suppose I'll spend and hang on to.

Totally chipped my sapphire when retipping a ring. I'm a gemologist I know which chips were in this stone and which were not. Totally disappointed and never coming back. Watch out giving these guys any gems.

Great company. Due to covid I had to make an appointment, which was great. Everyone was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the items I had and did his best to get me the most he could given my current situation.

Superb comprehensive & detailed personal service. Needed to verify if cubic Z or otherwise and clean my jewelry. They were happy to assist and advised on how to pass down as a treasure even if only CZ!

I really like this place! Cleve always takes care of me. Makes me feel like family. I got a nice Masonic ring here. Also, he found a beautiful diamond for my wife. It was mounted in yellow gold, which she doesn't do. So Cleve remounted it in white gold within a week. It's beautiful!!! His prices are very fair. I paid $1700 less than Costco was asking for the same thing. He also buys and sells gold and silver gold in jewelry, coin or bulk form. Years later....I go back and it's so refreshing to see these 2 gentlemen have not changed! Not their service or hospitality! I have never in my life left a jewelry store and have felt NOT taken advantage of.... until I came to this shop. Give these guys a visit ...you will not be sorry!

Mr. Cleve is a very nice gentleman. I came in for two watch batteries and he was able to change them both in a few minutes time. I only had my credit card on me and he gave me a pass on the charge and just asked that I just stop in next time. I will absolute return and I thank him for his generosity.

I came to American Jewelers because of Yelp reviews and was NOT disappointed. Super quick, fast appraisal and authentication of a stone. He also recommended a place for watch authentication. He and the security guard were wonderful. I will definitely use them for any jewelry needs going forward.

Had a very nice 20 minute visit here today. Got some jewelry looked at (as I suspected, it was nothing great). They replaced 4 watch batteries for me in minutes (all 4 for less than $22) . Proprietor and staff were knowledgeable, competent and kind! 5 stars for sure.

I went in here to modify a pair of earrings today, I needed a pearl taken off. The service was wonderful!! And you can tell, the owner is very honest and cares about his customers. I was even given a complimentary gift upon leaving. I love my new earrings! Will definitely be returning for anymore jewelry modifications/fixing! :)
