Eliseo and Frelic emigrated to Livermore, CA from Mexico. They promptly saw the need of having a mechanic shop in which the Latino community could bring their cars to without having to worry about a language barrier. The shop opened with only two bays and two workers. The business has now expanded to five bays and a much larger staff.

Super friendly and always gets the job done correctly my family has been going to these guys for years. I took my car in here for the first time for a brake, rotor and caliper replacement. I was in a hurry and asked if they could have it completed the next day by 10:30 am. They promised. At 10:20 am they called and it was done.

Frelic and his team fixed my F350 6.0 diesel, stranded on the highway. I towed over to them after trying shops local to Martinez.
I don't care where you are in the Bay, CALL THESE GUYS, it's worth it.
They are the best mechanics, extremely knowledgeable and totally honest on cost. I called 10 shops, went to 3 other shops and two mobile mechanics. Each had their own version of "truth" that would have ended up costing me double. My work is critical and my truck is needed, these guys didn't hesitate. Knew exactly the problem, executed the repair perfectly, and they communicated all the way. Frelic

I am not one to usually do reviews of businesses, but this one is worth doing it for. I've come here for several different repairs this past year (I have a 19 year old car) and am pleasantly surprised every time I have come here. They give a multi point inspection and text you the full range of problems you may have in degrees of severity. They have worked with me to find cost effective repairs for my car so that I am not completely broke by the end. Overall, my car is still running and I trust El Mecanico with my car. I only wish they were located closer to my house, but I am willing to make the

I had 2 friends highly reccomend this shop for the services and repairs on their vehicles, so I brought my vehicle in. The service center is clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. My vehicle is older and has unusual quarks, but the technicians were diligent and able to pinpoint, and communicate to me the exact problem without added repairs/costs. They were thorough and took their time on my vehicle without rushing through it, while also accommodating my busy schedule. I believe they were honest and fair in assisting me in getting my vehicle back on the road again. I reccomend this shop
