I'm one of the few that can't give 5-stars so maybe just got the wrong mechanic. My car ran fine most of time, except when turning on my A/C. This caused the car to stall; however, a check engine light or fault never was recorded. As a result, they claimed they couldn't diagnose the issue. Cost $200 for nothing.
They did not even attempt to diagnose a sound that seems to stem from a broken coil spring or lower control arm. I specifically brought it in to repair two issues and they failed to fix even one item. Waste of time (3-days in the shop) and $200 down the drain. I

David, Troy & Lauren are all very knowledgeable & patient in explanations. In the last few months, I've had an issue with a trunk latch, wheel alignment & their overall inspections are better than the dealers. Plus they write out all of my Toyota Camry's ailings & emailed them to me before discussing them with me ! Their prices are better than the dealers & my only concern with them is that they're so busy (good for them!) is you have to be flexible in getting an appointment. Car repair can be painful and costly. #FACTS These guys are legit in their services. Labor costs are reasonable compared to those damn Dealership Service centers that find any and every reason to charge for something you don't need.
They do a great job in their diagnostics and giving you the information you need to make an informed decision on your vehicle. If you are tired of dealership service centers then give AutoTECH a go.

AutoTECH continues to earn my repeat business. I have been taking my older model 2005 Toyota Highlander there for a few years now and they do a great job. My latest issue was a check engine and VSC lights that came on after my last oil change on the way home. I took it right back and they quickly diagnosed that some oil had gotten on the O2 sensor which was causing the fault. They cleaned the sensor and reset the code. I was good for about a thousand miles then the codes came back. The tech remembered my situation. They got me in real quick and and the sensor replaced by mid-day. I was half expecting

Living in San Ramon over twenty years, it's important to have a auto repair shop that you can trust. Over the past several years I have my loyalty for my multi brands of cars has changed. As some of my cars time out of factory warranties and maintenance contracts the dealerships are no longer the best option. Recently, I brought a couple of my Jeep's to AutoTech both of which for a check engine light. With all of the newer cars with sensors and computer parameter updates, repair shops need to have a doctorate in diagnostics. So far, my experience with AutoTech has been 5 stars. They have

We take both cars here. In addition to the minder service we come here for, they drove the car to test the actual driving condition. They send us photos of what needs to be done with cost estimate. Every time after the car is serviced at Auto Tech, it drives better. If car needs urgent issue, they make sure to take care of it as early as they can.

I got my timing belt and water pump replaced along with an A14 service on my Acura MDX. The dealership quoted $3,000 and a possible overnight engagement. Auto Tech had me out of there by 4PM for $1,685. I will go back to these guys for my regular service needs from here on out.
Oh, I also appreciated the carwash and cleanup. The dealership did this sometimes, but boy, everytime they did it they wanted credit for it on the review as, I quote the service agent, "this comes out of my pocket". C'mon man!!! Save me the drama, please!

In life, it's imperative to have four people/groups you can trust intrinsically: a family doctor, a vet, whoever is cutting your hair once a month and an auto mechanic shop. Latch onto these guys as your mechanic. I've taken my cars to AutoTECH for years and have gotten to know Troy and Dave really well -- you won't find two more honest, trustworthy people who really know what they're doing. Work is always done right the first time and I've often walked out with a lighter bill than I feared I was in for when a problem has popped up.

The team at AutoTECH is always wonderful to work with! I am able to get my car in at a reasonable time and am provided with a shuttle to and from work which makes them extremely convenient as well. The team is always very professional and attentive as they listen to all of my concerns before addressing each.
My team there always has my family's safety and best interest covered. They are also honest and reasonable with quotes and service needs. With my AutoTECH team, I feel no need for any second opinions or the need to "shop around". I highly recommend them!
