Services
We allow 2 pets max per unit, and only cats and dogs are allowed. There is a $350 non-refundable pet deposit, and pet rent is $25/mo per pet. Restricted dog breeds include: Pit Bulls & Staffordshire Terriers, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, Chows, Great Danes, Presa Canarios, Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, German Shepherds, Siberian Huskies, Wolf-hybrids, or a mix of any of the above.
Do I need an appointment? Do you take walk-ins? No appointment is necessary to tour our community; however, it is always appreciated if you call ahead to make sure we are available to provide adequate time for you to tour and ask questions. Please arrive no later than one half hour prior to closing if you would like to tour the property.

What a lovely place to live! I live here during my travel healthcare assignment at a nearby hospital, as many do here. The Bancroft makes it so easy to do short-term leases at an upscale, safe, comfortable, and beautiful apartment. Malaree and Emma, the Property Manager and Leasing Agent, are amazing and so personable! Very easy to talk to, and also both quick and efficient at answering all questions I had! The laundry room, workout room, and lobby are beautiful amenities! With the newly coming virtual golf suite, wine & martini bar, and bourbon restaurant, this place will be unbeatable! Highly

THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Maintenance is amazing but the rest of the staff is just a mess. We were lied to upon moving out. Mitch told us no one would enter our apartment after we moved out a month before the lease ended but this wasn't true. They racked up an electric bill in OUR name because they entered the apartment after we left to renovate for the next person. Then when we brought this issue to them they said we were responsible to pay the bill that THEY RACKED UP. They said once we returned the keys that the apartment was theirs even though the lease hadn't ended yet and we paid our rent in full

Fantastic apartment, really safe and quiet.
Wonderful staff, always quick to respond to any issues and very nice and kind. The manager and leasing agent are truly wonderful people who worked hard to make my experience here fantastic. The maintenance guys were also really helpful as well.
Faculties were excellent and kept clean, including the laundry room and fitness center.
Also, they definitely had the best coffee around for miles!

Maintenance crew was always nice but management, specifically Mitch, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He will find a way to cheat you out of your refundable deposit and throw on additional bogus charges. It's shameful how he treated us when we moved out.
Prior management was good, but the units were still overpriced. The building fire alarms would sound often, even in the middle of the night. Laundry units are out of order often.
Save your money & sanity and rent elsewhere. This corporate company doesn't care about the Saginaw community and will scam you.

Building has sooo much potential, squandered by the management company and their petty, loathsome leasing office / property mismanagement staff. Have lived here a year and a half and I'm out. Laundry list of issues reported, most never resolved. Was called an a$$hole with petty complaints for things like their inability to manage the building heating and cooling changeovers (they are 0/3 on successful switches while I have been here). The place is lipstick on a pig. Use to be a tenement building, surface level renovations, but when the cooling fails (like for the last 30 days) you can literally

The staff was incredibly professional, caring, and enthusiastic throughout the whole process of applying and renting. When I got in to the building for the first time I was greeted so warmly. Mitch was amazing in helping me set up! I am loving my apartment here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bancroft to anyone staying in the area!

I received such a warm welcome to Bancroft Apartments! Mitch and his co worker that was in training were so helpful to me! They even stayed late to wait for me so I could get my keys! I feel like I’ve known them for years! I am so excited to be living at Bancroft Apartments during my Travel Nursing Assignment in Saginaw! I highly recommend Bancroft Apartments ! Such a warm and welcoming vibe! I love it!

Black people stay away! The staff called the police to come to my apartment because there was a black girl asking for my apartment number and the person caught on camera stealing packages was black. Who wants to deal with that? Why not talk to me first about it. They also accused me and my people of breaking down blunts in the lobby bathroom ! With no indication of why they think myself and my guests would do that. Once my lease is up I am out of there and never will return. Save your money rent somewhere more affordable.

I lived here for nearly 3 years. I loved my apartment, but the windows were not upgraded during the renovation, so small spiders often found their way through and into the apartment. This creeped me out. Also, the fact that there are no washers/dryers inside of the unit was an inconvenience.
Management is a joke! Especially if you are a minority. I had several incidents when myself, family members, and friends were denied entry into the building or stopped just merely walking through the building where individuals (including members of management) asked them where they were going or who they were
