A day at Harmony is wonderfully well-rounded with learning activities through play so each child can learn while having fun. We are licensed by the state of New Jersey to serve children from six weeks to five years of age. Our cheerful classrooms are well equipped with the age-appropriate tools needed to provide your child with a high level of achievement.

Harmony's Director has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a minor in Special Education, New Jersey Teaching Certification and over twenty years' experience in curriculum development and Early Childhood Education.
Services
A love of reading is one of the most important tools a child can possess. Harmony's goal is to help children explore the wonderful world of books and gain a love of literature. Parents are provided the curriculum and daily schedule for their child's age group. Baby Sign Language classes. The Toddlers are introduced to phonics along with the preschoolers.
Our cheerful classrooms are well equipped with the age-appropriate tools needed to provide your child with a high level of achievement. Our programs are balanced with teacher-facilitated and child-initiated activities with well defined learning centers. Notes go home daily to keep you informed of your child's day and progress reports are completed twice each year.
Infant care is provided for children starting at 6 weeks of age. Our infants are on their own individual schedule. We are working on your child's development throughout the year. Studies done by developmental specialists have shown that there are four basic development areas: moving and exploring, interacting and feeling, communicating and talking, thinking and learning.
A partnership between parents and Tiny Tots' staff is important and is best for each child in our program. Throughout the year in Tiny Tots, we will be assessing your child's development. This will be done through a curriculum program called Kidex for One (Developmental Milestones).

We will be working with the children on language, communication, fine and gross motor skills, hand/eye coordination, self-help development, creativity and much, much more. These objectives will be accomplished through fun, educational, hands-on activities that will encourage your child's own development at his/her own growth.
Toddlers are curious and anxious to learn about their physical surroundings. They explore their independence and are actively acquiring language and sharing skills. They learn by watching, helping, and doing things by themselves. Our staff works in conjunction with our parents on the task of toilet training, which is aided by our child-size bathroom facilities!

This is the best organized school. Very talented teachers, good management. My son went there for almost 9 month and yes in the beginning it was very difficult for us since he was non verbal and for teachers also took time to understand him and tried their very best to manage him and support him. But it was amazing how he got comfortable with everyone even other than his teachers. His teachers are very kind and so talented as for as I have seen all class teachers are like that. My son learned a lot and am glad we found this institution for my son future education.Thank you Barbara, Regina, Maureen

Will echo other reviews here and on yelp regarding management's policy towards security deposit. I think the center should start mentioning the security deposit is non-refundable and label it as a donation. Both my kids have attended Harmony and its s shame how they treat parents, specially in uncertain times like whats going on with the current pandemic. Their contract language and attitute is to ensure you can never get your security deposit $$ back even if you give you a decent notice. Think about this - if I send my child to daycare and if she/he settled in well, when will I want to pull them

Day care charged Tuition for the month or March 2020 even though center was closed for half month and no service was provided. Unclear guidelines for reopening after COVID on June 15th, holding parents to ransom to start paying full tuition starting June 15th or lose all deposit - even though parents are understandably either hesitant to send kids back to this daycare because of safety or financial issues. School has extensive policy on how a child cannot return to school for 72 hours if they have fever, BUT there are no details being provided (EVEN THOUGH MULTIPLE PARENTS ARE REQUESTING) on the

My wife spends only half a year in the US, so my question was if that is possible to attend the daycare just several months in a row. The answer was "No", and that I have to pay for the whole year even if the child attends 5 months. The verbal answer is not something I should take for granted, so I asked for the standard contract in writing to study the terms. Ok, I've got it, but it was strictly prohibited to take this document home. The administrator literaly snatched it from my hands when I decided to take a photo of the contract. The announced reason was that "she needs an approval from the

I enrolled my son when he was 4 months old at Harmony. Started in the infant room where he learned how to walk and enjoy all the toys and love around the teachers, following year, he moved up to Tiny Toddlers and started to talk simple words. He loves his teachers and all the singing during the year. This year, he is in Toddlers and talking in whole sentences. His vocabulary has surprised us. All the activities my son participates and arts and crafts he brings home, we have cherished them since.

I was told by their staff that there is high demand and long wait list for their center. I was cajoled into putting down my deposit as well as the wait list fee right away, thinking that if I don't do it today, someone else will grab that precious spot on the wait list. So I paid total of $700, this included 2 weeks of tuition, $100 of registration fee, $75 of wait list fee, another $75 for activities fee. The starting date was scheduled for 9/6/16 and I paid this fee in mid July.
At end of July, I heard horror stories about daycare center (including this one Harmony) and decided not to enroll

Our family is always thankful for everything Harmony has brought us.
We put our son at the school when he just turned two. Weโ€™re from Asia and the new and English environment was all new for him. He literally cried all day long for the first two months but after that, he becomes happier every day. Now he speaks complete sentences, learns lots of vocabularies without we teaching him; and sings all the way home the songs he learnt at school, plus surprises us by new things he learns including Spanish which neither of us know.
The school has a lot to offer โ€“ the very kind teachers, spacious

I am going to write this as is happening. Teachers and assistant are great the problem is Administration. I usually don't write reviews but I am really upset at this. Yesterday I walked in to notify the school that my son would not longer attend the school next month, I am following the contract and giving them 30 days of notification so I can get my 2 weeks security. It turned out that my son have to stay an extra week (which I will be charged and deducted 1 week from my 2 week security) because Harmony closes the last week (for Classes, however administration still working) of August to prepare
