Tricia was born and raised on the island of Oahu; her family moved to Kirkland in 1990. She has lived in Pierce and King County with her daughter and now resides in Ballard. Tricia has strong hands and always had physically demanding jobs, so when Cortiva Institute opened in 2012 right down the street from her house she decided to give it a try!
Emily is a nationally accredited acupuncturist. She received her Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University, Santa Cruz, and has a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from Central Washington University. With her extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western science, Emily offers a holistic approach combining traditional techniques with modern research.

Dr. Connor is a miracle worker. I could hardly stand for more than a few minutes because of neck and shoulder pain. My daughter recommended Divine Spine and Dr Connor. I had only been to a chiropractor once or twice many years before in a different state. The staff with Divine Spine is friendly, helpful and professional. Dr Connor explained everything I needed to know in that first visit. Within the week I was back to normal - yoga 3X a week and hiking 1-2 miles a day. Dr Connor will always be my first choice for chiropractic care.

Initially I went in due to a back pain that had me on the couch for a week. After the first appointment, it was noticeably better and I was able to return back to normal life. We continued treatment for a few more weeks and I also began notice less migraines (I’ve always ha groin migraines) and they were less aggressive when I did have them.
I high recommend Dr Connor, I had never been to a chiropractor before and he made me feel comfortable and answered all he questions that I could think of to ask.

This place rocks, they totally take care of you.
Front desk staff is always kind and patient and Dr Connor is always full of positive vibes. I had a lower back injury that bothered me but never did anything about it and after a few appointments he has my back feeling new. 5/5 would recommend, just wish they had beer on tap.

I really appreciate this place for my chiropractic care. Dr. Conner works with his patients to individualize care. He listens to my concerns and adjusts treatment accordingly. He will also work on my acute and chronic issues in the same appointment. My appointments are never the same- these are not cookie cutter adjustments for sure. I also receive excellent care from the acupuncturist, Emilee. She is incredibly knowledgeable, highly skilled and caring. Do yourself a favor and visit this clinic- your whole body will thank you for it.

Dr. Cuevas and his team have been wonderful to work with from Day 1. They have helped me treat chronic pain from injuries that I sustained prior to receiving his care as well as newer injuries. I'm a cyclist and work a desk job; both of these things combined mean that I am tough on my body so, I'm glad I can always count on the adjustments and cold laser I get while I'm there. I have only had great experiences coming to this practice! If you’re looking for an Acupuncturist in Ballard, Emily Klein is amazing. She is a great listener and shows she cares. The Chinese Herbal Medicine she recommended has worked wonders for my stress along with many other things. I will be referring all to this office!

My experience with Emily Klein at Divine Spine was amazing. She took her time to explain everything to me in a way that was easy to understand and she made me feel at ease having my first session of acupuncture. The office staff was so friendly. I am so happy to have found a Ballard acupuncturist so close to where I live.
