De'Cordova Eyewear was founded by Dr. Kerri-Ann Hodge. Its creation was inspired by one of Dr. Hodge's most indelible life experiences: that of witnessing her father's struggle with serious eye complications, which plague him while he was growing up, and ultimately led to his blindness, as a mature adult.
De'Cordova Eyewear provides full comprehensive eye exams for all ages. Our office doctor has 17 years of medical in-hospital and optometric services experience and strives to bring you the latest and most advanced treatments each day. The reviews and ranking are well deserved. Indeed, this is a great doctor, very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain all that she is doing and what you should do to improve or maintain good eyes health.
However, my strong suggestion will be less pressure from the front office. there is absolutely nothing wrong with a patient wanting to pick a pair of glasses 100% covered by their insurance so they don’t have to pay the difference. You should also have a few options in term of glasses with prices at or below insurance coverage. My previous doctor had an entire wall of these options.

Very friendly and relaxing. This was the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had. Afterwards, Dr. Kerri Ann Hodge gave me a warming eye mask and had me sit in a massaging chair with classical music playing in the background. I felt like I was in a spa that transported me to a French garden listening to birds chirping on a bench swing.

This is seriously the best eye doctor I’ve ever had with the most posh and positive office! Dr. Hodge even gives positive empowerment the way the quotes in her office do like, “we have to be the light!”

I never knew what eye care I was missing until I came to De’Cordova eyewear. Prior to this, I would go to different eye doctors and it would be the ‘normal’ routine which was getting my eyes dilated and looking through different lenses to see what prescription I needed. Going to De’Cordova, I was greeted with the best hospitality, and taken care of immediately.
