As an optometrist in Kaysville, our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function.
Welcome to the new patient center for Wasatch Eye & Optical! We understand that your time is precious and that you need an optometrist who is professional, yet convenient for your lifestyle. In order to make the transition to our office smoother for you, we have created a New Patient Center with everything you need to get started.
Evaluations for eye health disorders are also performed. The American Optometric Association recommends that all people should have a periodic, comprehensive eye examination every one to two years depending on one's particular needs. Here at our office we incorporate computerized technology to assist the evaluation of spectacle prescriptions, peripheral vision, intraocular pressure, and eye health.
We prescribe all major brands of soft and ridged contact lenses. Additionally, we prescribe custom designed contact lenses for special needs as well as special eye problems. Our contact lens staff are able to answer many of your questions and are available for ongoing contact lens instruction and training.

Dr. Taylor and the staff at Wasatch Optical have done a fantastic job to provide me with glasses on several different occasions. I've had several eye surgeries, and so getting the correct prescription can sometimes be a challenge. Dr. Taylor was able to dial in my prescription perfectly, and worked with me to ensure that things were just right. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor and the great staff at Wasatch Optical.

I was not a current patient and it was the last day before they closed for Christmas and they replaced 2 missing screws to help repair my glasses without a question. I lost my glasses in a river last Saturday and needed something fast. I called Monday morning at 8:30 and they were able to get me in at 9 (combination of luck and awesomeness on their part). Just got my glasses Friday the same week so faster than I expected and excellent quality. Doctor Taylor was also really good and I felt comfortable there. Definitely a place I'd like to visit routinely.

I just had a patient visiting Utah and ruined their contact lenses. Upon confirmation with my office, Dr Taylor immediately provided my patient with his own trial lenses and saved the vacation. If Dr Taylor and staff provided this level of personal care for my patient, I can't imagine how high the level of care they will provide for you as their patient! Dr Taylor and his office truly care! This yearly check went perfectly, they worked diligently by making several phone calls to make sure my eye exam was covered by my insurance. My prescription is perfect and I see better than ever. The Kaysville location could still use an update, but I have also been to his other location which is very nice.

The doctor is great. He is very careful, and willing to explain everything he is doing. I went for a scratch on my eye, and haven't gone through purchasing glasses or contacts there, but for eye exams and eye injuries I would highly recommend it. I will probably buy my next pair of glasses there, just because I enjoy everything else about it so much. Might change my review if the purchase is disappointing, but until then it's 5 stars.

Initially, I took my 3 year old in to buy vision glasses.
I went back, for an eye exam; and had my 5 year old get one too.
Dr. Taylor has a very-good bedside manner. I felt like he did a thorough job. And he was wonderful with my kid.
My 3 year old has to see a pediatric ophthalmologist at the local children's hospital, because her vision problems are extreme & extend beyond the typical: 20/20 diagnosis.
Anyway, it turns out that my 5 year old needs vision glasses too.
