Dr. Robert Gatling grew up in Jacksonville, Fl. He attended Landon Jr/Sr High School until the 8th grade. Dr. Gatling graduated high school from The Bolles School. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Dr. Gatling went on to receive his doctorate degree from the Medical College of Virginia, part of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

5 stars for the nice lady who did my cleaning and for the actual dentist but 1 star for the front desk which is why I am not coming back. If you go here, make sure you get all the prices and everything written down on paper before any service. My daughter and I went there last year for cleanings and x-rays. I have no dental insurance so I always pay out of pocket for my own. The problem that we had is that before I even took my daughter in for her appointment, I had sent over her dental insurance information to make sure she is covered for everything. Had a tooth pulled yesterday. It was all Kelly Mixon ‘s fault!!! 🤭😵😷 Actually a big thank you to Dr. Robert S. Gatling, D.D.S and his staff for being so kind and fitting me in. They were so professional and made sure to get me out of pain as quickly as possible. That’s why I travel all the way across town to use them when I have tons of dentists in my area. Thank you!!!

I have been going to Dr Gatling since 1991, when I was in 6th grade. I stumbled upon these reviews when pulling up the phone number to make an appointment. All I can say is hogwash. Something else most likely happened, not the fault of the office or dentist, to cause the bad review.
I always choose Dr Gatling, even though my employer's dental plan doesn't cover him. I pay out of pocket, he is that good. In fact, I was calling for an appointment today to have a crown placed. I am happy to give him my cash, because he is wonderful and does great work. Dr Gatling came in on Christmas Eve one year

Do yourself a favor and do not go to this dentist! My family has been patients there for years and they over charge immensely especially if you have dual insurance and they think they can get more money. I paid in cash for dental work that was not done correctly and now they want to re charge me again for something I have already paid for. And the biggest issue I have is that he is not professional at all. He told my teenage daughter with aspbergers who wasn’t even his patient that she was fat and needed to lose weight and she had her in tears!! There are to many good and reputable dentist to

My family has only been going to see Dr. Gatling for a few months, but his staff and their professionalism has us expecting to be with him for years to come. He is a wonderfully charming character that put us at ease from our first visit. His staff was very informative and always willing to assist. Please be sure to read between the lines when you see hurtful reviews. As for my family, we couldn't be more pleased to have met Dr. Gatling and his wonderful staff!

I have been here several times, Dr. Gatling is a fantastic dentist and has a wonderful staff that never fails to make my day! I have never felt like a pin cushion as they work and everyone is always so nice it's hard to imagine going anywhere else.
