Let's face it, suspension is REALLY hard to figure out. They don't call it "black magic" or "the black art" for nothing, right?!? Well that's exactly how Velocity Calibrations got started. In 2011 Eric Vallarta had been riding motorcycles on the street and track for a number of years, and during this time suspension NEVER made sense.
Trackside services that Velocity Calibrations provides is important for a rider's safety, comfort, and tire longevity. Many customers drop seconds and prolong tire life after working with us during a few short sessions. We focus on key parts of the bike like geometry, dynamic balance, rider comfort and grip to get riders around the track.
Velocity Calibrations provide motorcycle suspension services for sportbike, dirtbike, Harley-Davidson/V-Twin, and more. We service OEM suspension components, Ohlins, K-Tech, Bitubo, and other aftermarket manufactures. We are factory trained from multiple manufactures to provide you with the highest quality of work.

At Velocity Calibrations, we believe our motorcycle frame repair system addresses all these questions. In addition, we use the latest technology to straighten and repair your frame back to proper factory specification.
The foundation of a well handling bike is motorcycle geometry. Professional race teams have known this for years, and now we bring this same technology to you at an affordable price. At Velocity Calibrations, we use the Scheibner CMS to not only measure your geometry, but also optimize your bike's handling.

As always Eric is excellence. I’ve had Several bikes setup with him and it’s always an awesome experience. Today I called him up with some concerns and questions on a brand new motorcycle and he walked me through what I needed to know to enjoy the bike to the fullest; I can’t wait to finish breaking her in and bring it to him for the full tune! There’s no one better, seriously, have him set you up!

Eric was great at explaining everything that he was doing, why he was doing it and just general information that he gave me. He was very patient and friendly considering I didn't have a clue on how suspension works and all the adjustments available. My bike felt so much better afterwards. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eric and Velocity Calibrations to anyone. When the time comes to upgrade my suspension I'll definitely be coming back to have Eric do the work. Just an awesome experience!!

Eric helped me win 4 regional championships my first year racing. First expert year we've done even more suspension and geometry tuning including Bitubo install front and back. Has helped secure multiple podiums and wins in my first year in expert as well as a third in class regionally and chance coming up for national titles. Best money I've spent as far as tuning the bike or mods without a doubt.

Took a chance and showed up without an appointment looking to have my sag adjusted on a new bike purchase. Eric took me right in and adjusted the sag. He then asked how the bike was riding and after asking a few pertinent questions, he made some compression and rebound adjustments. I didn’t expect such attention to detail but the small adjustments he made made a huge difference in the ride quality. Excellent customer service! Thanks Eric!

Eric is the most knowledgeable guy Out there when it comes to motorcycle suspension. I started doing track days with MCRA and asked Velocity Calibrations for some help with tuning my bike. I explained what I was feeling/what was going on as I rode around the track, and and Eric translated that into a killer suspension tune! Will take all my future bikes to VC.

Awesome suspension shop. Owned by Eric, who happens to be a suspension tech for the Motoamerica series too! He tuned my suspension for my weight and the bike handles SO much better.
I wanted to lower the bike because I was on my tippy toes, but encouraged me to first tune the suspension first, as sometimes it fixes the problem. I found out my settings were too stiff and there was virtually no sag. We talked about my riding style and what feedback I had from the bike. Long story short, the bike is more stable around corners, much more stable under heavy braking AND it sags properly and I can stand

Eric has always gone above and beyond to help me at the track with adjustments. I struggled with confidence on the bike at the beginning of the year but with Bitubo suspension and help from him with tweaks I gained a ton of confidence and speed. My experience with Eric from velocity calibrations has been nothing short of perfect. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in every way possible.
He helped me set my first track bike up including a geometry shoot and correcting the issues that were found. Installed fork extenders and rear shock shims. Got the bike handling the way it should be.
