Her expertise in the dental field spans over 30 years. Maureen loves the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Damaury loves the field of dentistry. Her energetic and outgoing personality will put a smile on your face. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is seeing the impact she makes in her patient's lives.
Dr. Lie-Ying Periu was born and raised in Melbourne, FL. After graduating from EGHS, she attended the University of Florida to receive her Bachelor of Science degree. This is where she found her passion for dentistry and received her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine at UF College of Dentistry. Prior to establishing Periu Family Dentistry, Dr. Periu completed numerous hours of courses in postgraduate dentistry.

To ensure that you maintain great oral health, this level of quality needs to extend into your personal oral hygiene routine. We can help you establish a dental hygiene routine that will keep your teeth healthy and white.
Many people are afflicted with bruxism, or teeth grinding. Some people may do this consciously during the day, but it is a larger problem at night while you are asleep. Grinding your teeth can damage enamel, wear down teeth, cause jaw pain, or irritate your gums. The noise from teeth grinding can also disturb your spouse's sleep if loud enough.

I love Dr Periu. I have been seeing her for several years & I can't imagine seeing anyone else. She is so kind and understanding of even the most nervous and dramatic patient. (Aka me)
My hygienist DeMaury also has to be a saint. She treats me with such care and manages around my sensitivities.
I drive 30 minutes to get there and it's so worth it. If you are looking for quality dental care I recommend visiting Dr Periu!

Visiting this dental office was an absolute pleasure. The staff was always Pleasant and very professional always putting my needs and concerns first. I had extensive dental work done and was very pleased. Doctor is an expert and very meticulous about her work she restored me to a beautiful smile with virtually no pain.

Dr. Periu and her wonderful staff are the most caring and professional dental practice in Brevard county. Dr. Periu will explain the processes she is doing and why they are necessary. Your visit will take longer as she is very thorough and it will be done right. We have been patients of hers for over 10 years and never leave her practice. The staff is wonderful and engaging.

Everyone there, from the receptionist to the nurse to the actual dentist herself were SO nice and SO helpful. They all took the time to explain every detail to me, ask me if they could get me anything to make my visit more comfortable, and to answer any and every question I had with great detail. The visit ended with a nice warm, lemon towel for my face! It was such a pleasant experience!

These days is it very hard to find a healthcare provider that you can trust. Dr. Periu is absolutely wonderful! As is her staff. My entire family has been seeing her for last three years. She is kind and genuinely cares about her patients. She puts their needs above everything else. She takes the time to explain everything in detail and gives you options for your treatments.
I will never forget how scared and nervous my 6 year old daughter was about getting her fillings done. Dr. Periu and her staff went out of their way to make her feel safe and comfortable. For a mother this is priceless.

Dr. Periu is an extremely nice, caring dentist that takes her time, makes sure the job is done right, and is as gentle as possible.
I've had several hours worth of work since becoming a patient:
- a cleaning, checkup, xrays
- a few fillings
- a crown
My first visit for the cleaning and checkup took a while, and I've never had a dentist spend this much time with me. In a way, I wish she only spent 3 mins like my former dentist - this way maybe she would have missed some cavities :P
She took the time to explain things, showed me with a mirror all the trouble areas, etc.
