I have ordered regular prescription glasses and had them help me with a pair of prescription sunglasses. Every single time I have gone I felt taken care of, and like they helped me explore all my options. I am a very picky person and can be quite particular, they were more then happy to put up with my indecisiveness and steer me in the right direction.
I have worked with almost all of the employee's there and everyone was great and fun to work with. There is clearly a culture of positivity and support practiced at this office. The Visionary, a full-service optometric practice, was founded in 1993 by Dr. Kathi-Jo Cramer and Annette Prevaux-Matejko. We had worked together for 10 years at a large optical chain prior to opening The Visionary and were able to bring our experiences, both good and bad, into the creation of our office.
Proper eye care is important for people of all ages and regular eye exams are encouraged for everyone, but especially for those already using glasses or contact lenses. Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.
New patients keep our business growing, so we are always proud to offer high quality optometry services to our patients. We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.

We have VSP and have been going to the Visionary for MANY years. Stopped in for a scheduled eye exam and glasses the other night and we were SO pleasantly surprised that cost was near the same as what we paid in network. Our family LOVES the level of care and family feel of the Visionary and we are SO HAPPY to remain patients! ❤

I have been going to the Visionary for many years. Looking to save money, I purchased my last pair of glasses elsewhere. Huge mistake! I’m back to The Visionary. My recent eye exam and selection of glasses was wonderful. I haven’t been able to see this well in quite a while. You get what you pay for. In this case, i am extremely happy with my experience and highly recommend The Visionary for your next eye exam and glasses!

We have gone there for a couple years and I’ve always loved it. HOWEVER, a few days ago my son got a piece of mechanical pencil in his eye. I called and they said come in by such in such time. I showed up exactly at that time. The optometrist casually saw patients while we waited. Now, I am not a person with a sense of entitlement, but you would think there would be some sense of urgency in getting it out. Then, when she tried, she lost patience with him because he was a) freaked out, and b) someone was coming directly at his eye with something. He got anxious, she said you’re not cooperating

This place is top notch. I was referred by a co-worker that said they are the best. He didn't lie at all. Great customer service, very thorough exams, very helpful, and they even just followed up with me to see how things were going with the new glasses that I got from them three weeks ago. I've never had an eye doctor follow up like that. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone in search of an eye doctor!

I have been bringing my daughter to these amazing ladies since she was 3. They have such patience with her and make her feel like she is their only patient and give her their full attention in helping her select new glasses. Not an easy task with a child! We now live 45 minutes away and still drive here for all of our glasses needs. Wonderful place and amazing staff!! A++++++++

I'm very happy that I switched to the Visionary. (we formerly went a big chain brand) Dr. Ciak was very thorough. Jessica did an excellent job picking out frames for me. My wife was very happy with that! So, I got the sunglasses too! Now my family goes here exclusively. The whole team makes us feel very welcomed and comfortable. I recommend The Visionary.

They also have a big Selection framed and the staff will is willing to select frames you might not realize you look great in! This is the place to go and see and be taken care of!

I had a bad experience here. Overall, I found their customer service to be lacking, with the exception of a few optical technicians.
I was disappointed because my charges were not clearly explained to me in the beginning, and when I was charged an additional fee for a "contact lens fitting" it caught me by surprise. I will not be going back here or recommending this place to others, I just hope that this review will encourage staff to reconsider the way they explain to patients the process of the exam and the charges PRIOR to any services provided.

This place is the best. The people that work there are amazing! They are friendly and very helpful. I opt out of eye insurance because this business is not part of the selections, that's how good they are. I have been going here for 15+ years and will never stray. They always help pick the best frames and options available. I simply cannot say enough good things about this business!

After having a difficult time finding a specific brand of glasses for my three-year-old daughter, I called The Visionary. They happily gave me a quote over the phone and were very pleasant to work with in person. They accepted my insurance and even called to inform me the glasses were delayed due to lens breakage at the lab. I couldn't be happier with their service. Definitely worth the 20 minute drive from my house.

Who likes going to the eye doctor? I don't think anyone really does. But I've been going here for years for all my eye needs and the staff are so helpful and friendly. They are always on time with appointments and will work with you if your glasses need a quick repair or if you need new contacts in a hurry. They have a pretty good selection of frames, though I rarely wear my glasses and haven't bought a new pair in several years, I do like to try them for fun when I am there.
