Dr. Spector has been practicing in the greater Atlanta area since 1994. He specializes in surgery and sports medicine. Since childhood he has been interested in training standard bred racehorses, which relies heavily on gait analysis. Pursuing Podiatric Medicine allows him to put that knowledge to use with people in his chosen profession.

We had the pleasure of meeting and treating retired ABA and CBA basketball player Maurice McHartley. A true gentleman who continues to stay active by playing tennis and walking for exercise. Maurice is a great example of the keep moving mentality even after retirement! Atlanta Sports Podiatry welcomes athletes of all ages and "retirement" does not mean you don't keep active!
This is Katelyn Tuohy, high school junior who recently set the indoor track record for the 3000m run. At the moment she is the top female runner in the United States. Not everyone will set records, but everyone needs to train properly. You may run 100m-3200m in competition on the track, but you still have to maintain proper mileage and do strength training.

Dealt with issues with my foot for years. After my initial visit with Atlanta Sports Podiatry they came up with a great solution. My follow up visit consisted of a simple procedure and now a short time later, year so of pain and discomfort are gone. They are courteous, professional and incredibly nice. Highly recommend the office and staff!

After being in a boot since November for Achilles Tendonitis and my Orthopedic Doctor not doing a thing for me. A customer of mine recommended Jay Spector to me. So glad I went to see him. The staff is super friendly and they are following Covid guidelines . I decided on doing a injection to start new cell growth. Two weeks later I am out of the boot and rocking some new shoes. Thank you so much.

Dr. Spector and his staff are absolutely incredible and the most kind people I have ever met. I had some painful and embarrassing plantar warts on the bottom of my foot - within 2 sessions, they were completely gone. Had plantar fasciitis for two years and seriously needed relief and preferred not to have surgery. Atlanta Sports Podiatry is the best place I could have been referred to and now I refer all of my friends here. Would not go anywhere else. Dr. Spector has great knowledge as well as bedside manner and I think he's awesome.

Ive has intermittent toe pain for several years and dismissed it as arthritis. The pain got so bad that it was interfering with my walking comfort.
On my first visit he knew exactly what it was but confirmed with X-ray and offered me a non surgical treatment plan which is working.
He is very attentive, knowledgeable and kind.
You are always treated by staff as though you are their favorite patient (and with masks during Covid times 😑).
I highly recommend Dr. Spector to anyone who is experiencing foot issues.
