Crab Island Water Taxi in Destin, FL was Established in 2018 by Owner Michael James. After visiting Destin, FL for 5 years and enjoying all the amazing local excursions, he decided to create and start an alternative transportation company that offered an affordable option to Crab Island without having to rent a boat.
Tour includes a Bathroom, our Captain and Crew, Water, Soda, Snacks, Innertubes, Water Mats, Floating Dock, Water Toys, Games, Snorkel Gear and Music with Karaoke. We offer a small fleet of pontoon boats. Our boats are newer, clean, comes with cooler with Water, Soda's, Snacks, Water Mat, Bluetooth Music.
Our New and Improved State of the Art Certified Barge is your new home on Crab Island and we have have it all! With our high volume of customers and such great feedback with our outdoor seating above water and in water, we will have 80 seats available above water and 80 seats in the water. In addition to our sound system, water sports games and roped off areas for our guests, sit in paradise with us and enjoy the views and sounds of Crab Island.

We had such a blast doing this! It's about a 30 min boat ride there and back and then you get to play for 2 hours in the water. Only downer is that the vendors there no longer can sell alcohol and they don't have the large inflatables anymore. But we had so much fun and would definitely do it again if we come back!

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience here. Although the guy who drove the boat was a nice person, the cocktails in a can (Alabama slammer) was not in good condition. That drink was either due or stay in the sun then cooler for too many times. At the end, my wife and I got intoxicated, being with our kids was a delicate situation. We just had one can, and was enough for us to past out. Just be careful.

Mike and Hunter took the time to make sure we had an excellent time while on this excursion. ABSOLUTELY LOVED this crew! The personal touch to make sure we were having a good time and we were doing ok was superb! Music was fantastic as well as all water activities. The BBQ was recommended by Mike and he was correct… it was great! This was an added bonus to our girls trip! Thank you guys for doing what you do! We appreciated it! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take this tour!!! We were definitely turned up!!!

This was a wonderful experience! My mother, sister and I came for girls’ weekend. The crew was fun and responsive. We bought the VIP experience, which was totally worth it. The crew had snacks and cold waters for us. We truly were able to sit back, relax, and enjoy ourselves.

The owner Michael saved the day for our group! Another company never picked us up for our booked trip. Michael promptly accommodated our group and provided us with a boat. Very attentive and helpful to our group.
I observed interactions between the other staff and guest who were amazing and helpful. His staff Rob, Jeff, and Jason were very helpful and personable to all guest. I would highly recommend this company and employees to anyone over any other service.

Best time EVER!!! LUCKILY the entire charter was full of awesome people and the crew, Big B and Little B were so cool. The ride was easy and the dolphin/sunset tour was a memory I will NEVER forget. The dock we waited on was really cool too. We got to meet the musical act and his woman and they were just good people! I can NOT wait to do this again, sooner rather than later. I will definitely book again. Oh, I did the 4 hour trip. Unlimited snacks, sodas and water and water toys, tubes, floating mats and dock. Crab Island is all I hoped it would be. Thank you Mike, and Brandon times 2!!

Let me tell you how impressed I was with the service provided yesterday by Micheal. It was my sister in laws birthday and we didn't reserve the boat rental in advance(like we should have) I last minute emailed Micheal and he made it happen. 5 of us on the boat,yes its chilly but dress right and your good! Our super cool captain named Brendon spotted dolphins and we ended up seeing over 8 dolphins jumping around and it was the coolest thing. They made our last night here in Destin amazing! Thanks guys!

The service we received was great all around from getting tickets to the boat ride to the area they drop you off.
The experience at Crab Island was amazing! Definitely a little pricey in my opinion. The small floating barages in the Crab Island area were okay. They give you snacks, drinks, and have tubes you can use.
