What is a cataract? A cataract is a cloudy lens. A cloudy lens blocks the amount of light entering your eye, the cloudier the lens, the more light it blocks and the less you could see. Sometimes glasses will help alleviate the blurry vision, if not, then you will likely need cataract surgery. What is glaucoma?

Dr. Capistrano was very caring and professional. The previous ophthalmologist had told me nothing was wrong with my eyes, even though I was having blurred vision. I, thankfully, went to Dr. Capistrano for a second opinion. She found severe cataracts in both eyes. Thanks to her I received the surgery I needed, and can see again.

My personal eye clinic where I paid my insurance copay for my prescription glasses calls me to tell me that my glasses are ready for pickup so we logically drive to where I got my vision tested and which is my primary eye clinic only to arrive and be told that they are in a totally different city. So we go to said city's ophthalmologist office only to be told that I need to pay for the glasses again because they have no record of my payment so I now have to go to the bank and get a statement for proof. This is so unprofessional.

Do not waste your time calling here for any cataract surgery. They tell you they have the laser assisted cataract surgery but THEY DONT. What a way to trick and abuse old people’s time by scam words “ yes we have laser assisted surgery” but when you actually get into details they don’t have that, they ONLY do the traditional cataract surgery ( small incision by the doctor) hire more knowledgeable people

I had burning and Dry eyes,i needed to close my eyes for minutes every day; After trying many different type of eyes drops with no result, I found Dr Capistrano, She gave me the Right eye medicine to solve my problem. When I first met Dr. Angel Capistrano, I immediately felt calm and at home. I felt confident in her abilities because I know that she already did a great job on performing the cataract surgeries of my parents. I knew that with her i was going to be okay and safe... Her staff were all very professional, caring and accomodating in answering all my inquiries. Dr. Capistrano, upon learning my situation, mobilized everything and made sure that i could have my surgery set up by referring me to a primary physician and assisting me with all the tests necessary for me to be cleared for the surgery. I have been having eye pain for months. I went through an optometrist twice, the emergency room twice. Dr. Capistrano immediately found out what my problem was and gave me the right treatment.
