I will start with saying that I do not like change very much! Especially when it comes to my medical/dental care. I used to go to a dentist less than a mile from where I live - which was phenomenal and worked well with my schedule. My sister, Shareen, has been raving about Dr. Patel for a few years (she even entered Dr. Patel's number in my contact list a while back).
In January, I started having this pain on my left side of the mouth (about a couple of weeks after my last routine dental appointment

Dr.Patel and his team are very friendly and welcoming. I shadowed Dr.Patel a couple of times and it was amazing. Dr. Patel and his team are very efficent and always strive to satisfy the patients desired dental treatment. They break down the procedure step by step in simple terms so it's easy to understand. Overall I would highly recommend anyone that is seeking dental treatment to visit Dr. Patel's office.

I had a fantastic visit last week to the dentist! I have been seeing Dr. Katibah since I was a child and am now going to Dr. Patels office where both Doctors serve their patients together with respect and pride.
I was helped by Victoria on my last visit. She has a great personality, very professional, and explains the processes she's doing.
Thank you to everyone at the office. It makes coming to see the dentist a lot less stressful.

I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Patel and his staff after doing some work for him at the office. Fast forward to a broken tooth, I contacted them and they quickly and remarkably painlessly helped me with getting that tooth removed, and work up a plan to get my whole mouth health again. Dr. Patel and his office genuinely care for their patients. I appreciate their professionalism, and their attention to detail when it comes to safe practices. Dr. Patel has been my dentist for four years and during that time, Dr. Patel customized a dental plan to take care of my gums and my teeth. I have never felt comfortable going to the dentist but with Dr. Patel, I feel that I am in safe and knowledgeable hands. I am confident when I smile and am proud to show off my teeth. I think Dr. Patel is the best dentist in Sacramento.

I cannot recommend Dr Patel highly enough; right from our first appointment, he has been warm, kind and thoughtful, and he has pointed out several issues which my previous dentist never even mentioned or addressed. I am pursuing various treatments, and Dr Patel has referred me to an extraordinary network of highly skilled dentists with whom he works. His own level of skill, his experience, and his attention to detail, are second to none - I have never felt as comfortable in the dentist's chair as I do in Dr Patel's office. I've been a patient of Dr. Patel's for a number of years. Recently, I needed a bit of work done and was quite anxious about it. Dr. Patel did an excellent job of explaining what was going to be done and how to help alleviate my anxiety. The procedure turned out to be painless and went smoothly. I’ve been going to Dr. Patel for about 2 years now. He’s not in my local area but it’s worth the drive. I have always had a great time with every visit. I rarely have to wait in the waiting room and if I do, it’s only for several minutes. I appreciate that they value their patients time. The staff there are amazing. They take the time to get to know you and for you to know them as well. The office is clean yet still manages to feel homey without that sterile feeling. The little details like offering a blanket, Netflix to distract you during a procedure, lip balm, water, etc makes your experience

I first became acquainted with Dr. Patel when he assumed the practice of my personal dentist several years ago. From top to bottom--front office, dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists---the staff are friendly, attentive, and technically proficient. My crown fell out Saturday after 6:30 pm. I knew the dentist office was closed, but thought I'd leave a voicemail message anyway. To my surprise, Dr. Patel returned my call just minutes later, letting me know that he could see me the next day, a Sunday. I have never experienced this level of service, commitment, and response. I am the worst when it comes to the dentist. Overall, I'm bad patient. I brush twice a day religiously, however don't floss as much as I should and I don't have routine cleaning done! High anxiety and horrible past experiences has left me pretty jaded. I was referred to Dr. Patels office by my fiancé, Matt. I want to start off by saying that the service was great! Dr. Patel was very meticulous about my fillings and ensured that I was comfortable throughout the entire experience.
The issue came with the bill of course. I was quoted for a different price by the front staff, and come to find out that it was not correct because they are "out of network" which they did not tell me. Dental staff were amazing. This was the best dentist I have been to. But front desk needs to be more clear and give clear out of pocket estimates. They never mentioned they were out of network for my insurance. After my procedure received an unexpected bill.
Tip: Make sure they are in network with your insurance. Have them give exact out of pocket costs before getting anything done.

This review is long over due! But I have been meaning to write this review. I was originally looking for a new dentist in the Sacramento area since I moved. I went to one doctor already before I made an appointment to see Dr. Patel. His reviews were really great so I decided to make the decision to get a second opinion. And I'm glad I did! I really like this place, friendly staff and attends to your needs but today was rather a disappointment I'm usually on top with my appointments after getting my crown the staff provided me options on my next appointment I agreed with as early as possible. She gave me a appointment on February 20, 2018 at 11:30AM I agreed with it and decided to go back early from my vacation in Seattle since I'm off that day I went straight to my appointment right after I got back in Sacramento.
