A thorough examination of your vision and eye health will determine what correction to prescribe. Refractive error (commonly known as nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism depending on the error) is evaluated by measuring how the eyes focus when a series of different lenses are placed in front of them.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parker’s for about 8 years. Dr. Parker’s level of expertise is unparalleled. His team is professional and thorough and his office / practice is pristine and clean. Their Covid protocols are top notch and made me feel safe and comfortable. Recently I had to get a new pair of glasses and Debra spent ample time with me to find the perfect pair and fit! Dr Parker has been taking care of my eyes for over 30 years. His approach to eye care and exams are extensive. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Debra fit me in glasses with great care and precision. She is magical! Mackenzie is friendly, greeted me when I came in, and able to answer my questions. I've had a decade of excellent service from Hamptons Eye & Vision. In particular, optician Debra Kakaris knows glasses and lenses like no one else. She has spent generous amounts of time helping me make the right decisions over the years and, even more impressive, helping to maintain their fit and comfort well after the initial purchases. Today she repaired and refitted two of my old pairs, and we talked in detail about my options for next year, when I'm ready to purchase new ones. All at no charge and with wonderful friendliness. I came in for a check up knowing i needed a new prescription. Dr. Parker was great, and Debbie did an amazing job of picking out new frames. I was looking to get 3 pairs - reading, distance, and sunglasses - and she was very careful to get me the best value through my insurance coverage and was totally fine with me using an old pair of glasses for the sunglasses. Their system for staying safe in Covid required you to wait in your car and text/call when you arrive. It is efficient and well organized, and I definitely felt safe. It was a great experience.
