Phi Pilates Studio
We are not just a Pilates studio. We are a school where your body will learn good posture and healthy movement patterns. We offer in-person group and private classes in our 9000 square-foot studio, as well as virtual classes and on-demand home workouts. Laser therapy is a medical treatment that uses focused light to stimulate a process called photobiomodulation (PBM).

During PBM, photons enter the tissue and trigger a biological cascade of events that leads to an increase in cellular metabolism, which can decrease pain and inflammation and accelerate the healing process. PHI Pilates has been training Pilates professionals and rehabilitation professionals since 1999 and was the first to bring education to you a module at a time.

Since 1999 PHI Pilates has been training individuals, Pilates professionals, and rehabilitation professionals. PHI Pilates offers both education and instructional classes. Following the footsteps of Joseph Pilates, Phi Pilates Studio invites you to join us in the study of movement. Faulty movement patterns are often the cause for musculoskeletal pain and injury and Pilates can help prevent these patterns or resolve them.
I have been taking private sessions at Phi Pilates for several years. I have severe Scoliosis with other back issues and I have found that Pilates has built up strength in my core and other muscles that surround my spine, shoulders, and legs, relieving pains that I have because of my condition. Karen Ketchum works with me there and I am amazed by her knowledge of my condition and her expertise of the Phi Pilates method to treat me.
We are not just a Pilates studio, we are a school where your body will learn good posture and healthy movement patterns. Our facility has enough space for all types of group exercise classes. On our second floor we hold group Pilates classes (reformer, chair, barrel, and tower), as well as YUR Back classes.
This is a one time only discounted session for new members. We can cater this 50 minute one on one session to either the mat or the equipment depending on your interest. Please let us spend this session getting to know you and introducing you to the Pilates method. This session is required if you do not have any Pilates experience and would like to join the Pilates equipment classes.
The YUR Back exercise program, combines therapeutic exercise, Pilates, and muscle balancing techniques to create a safe and effective work out for those recovering from low back pain. PHI Pilates provides continuing education courses for instructors in an easy to access online environment. These courses provide continuing education credits in many disciplines.

I have taken a handful of classes of various types here. I have learned so much from the Physical Therapy experts that work here. You won’t get this at any other studio!! After having low back fusion surgery I wasn’t only nervous but I was scared to return to any form of exercise! I was a runner, kickboxer, HIIT lover, and boot-camper type of exerciser. But after surgery my body needed to learn a different type of exercise and achieve the same vigorous intensity that I was used to. Dr. Christine Romani-Rubi evaluated my weak spots, gave me exercises I can do at home to strengthen and correct

I am part of a fitness club at Pitt and we work with this studio often. The instructors are amazing, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. They are able to give fantastic pilates workouts to 80+ girls in one session and leave everyone smiling. The studio itself is beautiful with many different class options (My favorite being bounce). You will not regret taking a visit to PHI Pilates.

PHI Makes Fitness FUN!
I started taking Bounce (mini trampoline/rebounder) class here about a year+ ago & absolutely love it. It's truly like recess for adults!
The instructors are very friendly and super high energy.
The facility is large with big windows - bright & airy!
Best of all this studio focuses on proper form & alignment, so regardless of what class you are taking (a fitness class, Pilates, Yoga, etc.) you will always be working on ways to stretch & strengthen your body without the worry of getting hurt.

PHI is my favorite pilates studio! I am so impressed by the high level of knowledge that the staff has and their ability to make small postural adjustments that have a huge impact on relieving pain or tightness. I absolutely love going to PHI pilates every week!

This is a wonderful studio staffed by well trained and highly qualified professional staff. For those of us who live with back pain, knee injuries, etc., finding a place to get a good and safe, and often therapeutic workout, is really special.

Excellent studio. Teachers with amazing knowledge and skills. You will not be disappointed with the level of expertise in the instruction. Among the really great teachers are Lauren, Lindsay, Kristin and Chrissy. Great place to learn Pilates and get stronger and healthier.
