So, I was on my way back home to Washington DC and realized that I had not had any pizza or a sub, so I stopped here. Long story, short my slice of pepperoni pizza was decent. However, my Italian sub was terrible. The bread to meat ratio was off ( too much bread) and it was very dry even though it had oil and vinegar. No seasoning, e.g., oregano was present. In all honesty, I wish I had went to Jersey Mike's- yes, I said Jersey Mike's.

What a spot. I don't spend a ton of time in this part of NJ but I found myself here for work the other day. Brooklyn boys is located in a strip mall and unless you know its there you will miss it. The place was pumping for a pizzeria at lunchtime. All the pizza's looked good and they also had sandwiches that looked righteous. If you read my reviews you know I love fried eggplant. They make one of the better fried eggplant sandwich's I have had at a pizzeria. The sandwich came with a greek salad and it was nice compliment to the sandwich. I also tried the margherita plain slice and

Best pizza around. I drive 30 minutes to get this pie because it blows every other pizza in the town I live in(Bedminster) out of the water.
They put the sauce on top which I love and that sauce is just so damn good!
I ordered half double pepperoni and half plan. They piled it on exactly how I like it and their Roni has that fantastic zesty tang to it, its to die for!
Not greasy at all and just busting with flavor. My 10 year old took down 4 slices in one serving so it's safe to say he loved it too! Service was fast and the guys behind the counter were very nice.
Today I just got a pizza

I came here after reading an article of the best pizzas in NJ back in November, and it served right...when you only eat the classic; which was amazing and light in taste. They definitely got their sauce right and their crust was thin and chewy. I'm usually not one to eat the whole crust, but it was pretty dang good.
The other pizzas though weren't all that great.
- Buffalo was alright - chicken was dry
- White was okay; ricotta was good
As you can tell, my favorite was the classic. It had the perfect amount of chewiness, super clean, and that sauciness was right on!

Hidden gem! Or maybe I just didn't look hard enough. I've lived 10 minutes away from Brooklyn Boys for almost 20 years and did not try it until Covid hit. SO glad I finally did. I'm not a huge pizza connoisseur so can't judge on if it's authentic Brooklyn style pizza or not, but I know when I like something and this pizza hits the spot! We ordered a pie - half tre colore pesto and half penne vodka. Both were super good but the tre colore pesto is hands down my favorite. Not too heavy, just a fantastic combination or pesto, marinara and ricotta YUM *chef's kiss*

This place just jumped on my all time favorite pizza place list! Obviously, that's a hard call to make, especially for someone born and raised on NJ/NY pizza, but man, this place just earned its place amongst the best.
This place is all about the crust. Thin crusts with a crunch in each bite. I mean, easily the best all time / all area crust I've had. So good, I just had it yesterday for lunch, it's now Sunday morning and I'm upset they aren't open so I can have more.
I ordered a white slice and a Sicilian with pepperoni. Both slices had the right ratio, crust to sauce

I had their pizza for the first time today.
My friend and I ordered a pie (1/2 with pepperoni and mushroom, 1/2 with ricotta) to bring outdoors for a picnic. The pizza has a thin and crunchy crust. In the best way possible, I'd compare Brooklyn Boys's pies to the pies at Blaze Pizza.
Their slices aren't soggy, but will definitely drip plenty of grease on to your plate if you order pepperoni. They don't droop when held. If anything, they're so crispy that they'll split in half when folded.
Hope to be back soon!
