John is thorough and very responsive. He completed an extensive (2-3 hrs) inspection and provided a detailed written report with images and specific recommendations and/or hazards needing to be addressed by the seller prior to closing. He also went above and beyond and provided education regarding various things, such as ways to improve energy efficiency and maintenance-related concerns/costs for particular items. He also provided additional information regarding being a homeowner (as we are first-time homebuyers). He answered all my questions and concerns during and after the inspection via email

John was absolutely fantastic to work with. He arrived early and already was well under way by the scheduled time. He was incredibly thorough and didn't leave a single rock unturned. John also took the time to walk and talk through every point of concern and was wonderful at explaining things in layman's terms. His vast knowledge and expertise left me educated and saved me from making a huge mistake. I am so thankful for him and look forward to using him again, hopefully in the near future. I was so impressed as was my brother, I cannot recommend him enough!

John is exceptionally thorough, equally friendly, & I'd recommend him in a heart beat. His knowledge of older homes is top notch. The inspection report lays out everything found in an easy to follow & comprehensive fashion. After we left our appointment with John, we felt like we had an instruction manual for our house. He is flexible and thorough- he took his time to make sure to review every detail of the house to ensure we were aware of any and all issues, and even took his time to make recommendations on some small fixes. He genuinely cares that you find a good home and are fully aware of any problems/defects. As first time buyers we weren’t sure what to expect, but we ended up leaving the inspection so grateful that our agent recommended John. Can not recommend him enough!

John went above and beyond anything that I had expected from a home inspector. He was incredibly accommodating with my schedule and was even able to perform the inspection before the snow started flying! Being a first time home buyer, I had many questions and concerns as to what I was getting myself into. I feel so lucky to have been recommended John by my realtor! I'd been nervous about the age of the house I was buying (1880's), but John put me at ease immediately. He assured me we would look at everything, and we did! He took the time to discuss the items we found, suggest fixes to the smaller items, and make sure I was comfortable and understood what we were seeing. I never felt rushed and he answered all my questions. The report he provided was detailed, and included lots of pictures so that the findings were clear.

Having John perform our home inspection was one of the best decisions we made during the entire process. We feel confident in our purchase as every single aspect of the home was gone over thoroughly. We even got some pointers on some things to take care of. As first time buyers we greatly appreciated his ability and willingness to take the time to explain every detail to us.
