Jim has led AMSS to becoming a leading HOA Management Company since taking over in 1999. Jim Graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Degree in Business Administration. I would like to add that I also tried to put in several maintenance requests through the app with NO follow up or solution. I tried calling their office, left a voice mail, and emailed them multiple times for follow up emails and absolutely NO RESPONSE.

Never send the link to sign up for the portal for us to make the monthly payments after repeated emails requests!!! Why are they still in business is beyond logic and my understanding

This is an HOA Board Member review. We did business with this company since the late 2000's. I wasn't on the board at that time but it is my understanding that they were great at first and helped us clean up various aspects of our community.
But since approximately 2016/2017 onward, this company has been providing sub-par service and so we just fired them. To add insult to injury, they haven't even returned our legal documents to us. All the minutes and rulings that we paid them to produce and maintain in order to be legally compliant. They either were angry at us for leaving them and threw them

Mr. Parsons, the complaint was about the extremely loud noise coming from the motorcycle, a Hardly Davidson. There are rules in the CCRs about any noise that inhibits the peaceful enjoyment of property. And while I did contact the HOA as a representative of my elderly mother and my concern was resolved, ultimately my complaint was about the lack of professionalism. There is no sense of accountability of that in your response.

James P., I have no personal desire to hurt your business or you. I will reach out to you directly to attempt to resolve this conflict and will update my reviews on Yelp and other sites depending on how this goes. I just want what we contractually agreed upon to be fulfilled. I've been working with Jim Parsons. I believe you, James D. Erick (the Manager) and Denise (Assistant) take great care in responding to my Homeowners Association needs. Promp response via phone/email. Professional billing. They developed a great website for accessing HOA documents and account details. During the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-21) especially responsive to plumbing or roof leak problems. Top notch in a field where not a lot of HOAs are responsive or accountable. I have been a homeowner since 1986 and appreciate their professional and caring management of Las Brisas Diamond Bar.

I'm a property owner at Las Brisas. Which is currently managed by AMSS. Aza Ingrham is the most UNPROFESSIONAL person I have had to deal with. Her advise to me was to tell my tenants not to complain. The Lack of follow-through and transparency along with total neglect for owners best interest are among the top factors to my experience. My tenant is being harassed by a secuirty company "Southwest Patrol" that is hired through AMSS to patrol community. This security company is known to hire ex felons and child molesters. The attitude of this company and their vendors is disgusting.

This company is the absolute worst property management company I have ever experienced. They are incredibly unresponsive and when the property manager (Stephanie) finally does call back- usually a week+ later, she is irritable and acts so inconvenienced. The company is so unorganized- they've said they would email me forms, which i've never received, which means we have to go through the cycle of trying to reach them AGAIN. What a nightmare.

Another worst property management aside from previous ones. i sold my condo and the lady who was handling our property Tanya Q. didn't even bother responding to my questions and request when the termite company has to do the inspection and when they finished the repairs. I emailed and asked her no response at all.

Now this is our 3 week out from the condo the property management doesn't even want to replace another set of parking permit to the new owner. they want me to give them the my old one and since my account is not active anymore they want to use the same tag # to the new owners

If 0 stars was an option. The community manager that Sunset Townhomes here and the HOA had appeared only to solve problems by spending other people's money. Years of money wasted on water ($16,000/month), Irrigation Repairs ($10,000/year), Landscape Extras ($13,000/year).

I am running for the Board and will demand a forensic accounting of our Association's finances and if possible, AMSS.

Enough is ENOUGH!!!!

We hired this company to help our Board manage the property and it was the worst mistake we made. Ever since he took over the property, it has been in decline. Jim cares nothing about our property, he has not kept up his part in assisting the board that not knows what it is doing. Our property was underinsured - something he should have known - we complain and he pretends not to know what is going on when he is cc'd in the emails. He and his staff are bothered if we complain, nothing is done about anything here. The grounds are full of weeds, there have been mattresses left for weeks

We were opening up escrow on a property and I emailed to inquire on some items. I do not think I have ever received as prompt of a response from a HOA team as I did from Aza and Vanessa. They were so proactive and so helpful which truly makes our job easier. I am so thankful for their help and answers to our questions. Thank you both!!!

I've been on the BOD of our HOA for over 15 years. In that time period, we've had three management companies. Jim and the AMSS team have been by far the best company. They are very professional and knowledgeable about current issues and laws that effect HOAs. They've always dealt with homeowner issues and vendor recommendations/work with the utmost integrity.

I've read many of the other reviews below. Understand that the Mgmt Co. does not write the HOA Rules and Regulations, they only enforce them. So by default, the Mgmt unfairly gets blamed as the "bad guy"

This association should get 0 star. I spent two hours calling them to ask a simple question. They NEVER answer the phone.
I was calling them to ask about the policy of changing windows. I saw a unit in Sunset Townhomes that I like to buy. I wanted to update the windows that unit has (it was original old window, not energy efficient). My real estate agent advice me to call the association to be clear about the policy on changing windows.
I spent more than two hours calling them, even the receptionist recognized my voice, but, the person that deals with that association just WON'T answer

Absolutely terrible, unprofessional, and incompetent.

I have been requesting some documents from the manager, Sascha Camargo, for about a month now. She does not respond to emails or return voicemails. After waiting patiently for a month, I was finally able to get a hold of her and she is not only condescending but also threatened that I better talk nicely to her if I want her help.

Really Sascha? Enough said.

I am shocked that i am giving a 4 star rating - but giving credit where it is due, and after a move to Nashville to another association where we own, i now realize that Association Mgt is doing a pretty good job on our property in Sunset Townhome, Chino Hills.

Our contact is Asa, and she has done a good job of being responsive on most issue. Some took a bit longer but me being the nagger that i am things did get done.

So why the 4 stars ? We have owned here for 20+ years and they are tough with the association rules - just like we want as owners who rent to others - this is a good way to keep
