Raimo's Pizza
Benvenuti to "The Traditional" Raimo's Restaurant and Pizzeria! The family owned and operated restaurant has become a landmark on the South Shore of Long Island for over thirty-five years. Voted the "Best Pizza on LI" by Channel 12 News, Raimo's has reasonable prices and great hospitality. It is where you can savor different pasta dishes, seafood, pizza and many authentic Italian delicacies prepared to order from high quality ingredients.

It's like old times! On any given day, you still see mamma Sarina mixing one of her special sauces; she might even pass by you, with a smile and say Buon Appetito!
Services
Raimo's history started long ago when Papa Frank and Mamma Sarina came to the United States with their children from Messina, Italy. Like many European people of their generation, Frank and Sarina learned that America was the land of promise and that they would have a good chance to better their life.

Family and I went into location after a FUNERAL, for the guy behind the counter to roll his eyes at me when I asked a question about the menu. It appears everyone who works in this place is miserable. Pizza wasn’t that great either. Good riddance.

My husband went to pickup an order that I placed through DoorDash. He said no one acknowledged him he had to say he was there to pick up an order. One of the workers a heavy set man told him to go wait over there and shoved him off. So he said I’m here to pickup a pie and a chicken parm hero. One of the workers placed the order on the table and said to him what’s the name he said his name they said that’s not the name we have he said well maybe it’s under my wife’s name so he gave him my name and they said oh. My husband told me he never felt so uncomfortable.(African American) there

This place is heavily overrated. I was expecting something really good, because the freeport people love this place. Pizza is very bland nothing exciting about it. The blue chesse was terrible. The BBQ wings had no meat on it. Celery was terrible, it was grown in your local backyard with little to no water. The only reason I gave this a 3 star is the people were friendly and the calamari was good.

Raimo's has been the best place for pizza on Long Island for years (I've been a customer for over 35 yrs). Great service, the owner is very friendly and remembers his customers. Whatever you have a taste for, if you get it from Raimo's I'm sure you'll be satisfied!

I wouldn’t even give them a star if I had the ability to.
Came in at 10:05pm on Tuesday evening after work. There was a heavy set man with a horrible attitude almost shoo-big us out. And I asked could we order for take out if we couldn’t dine in. There were many patrons in there. They were Italian and Caucasian. Myself and the person with me black…. Hmmmm… go figure.
Never again

Came here with my girlfriend to order some food, I ordered a Campagnola which is one of their signature pasta dishes. On the menu it states that it has Homemade Sausage. But when I received my order all I got was chicken. Highly disappointed, if they ran out of sausages then they should of told me, I would've ordered something else.

While I have been coming here since 2008, when I moved to Freeport, I only recently discovered their chicken francese and penne alla vodka. Their pizza has always been delicious, with my personal favorite being the wild mushroom slice, which is really flavorful. About two months ago I tried the chicken francese and my husband and I have ordered it several times since. This place is definitely worth ordering food from.
