Went here when I was 7yrs old. I ended up falling off the top bunk, because there were no rails at the time. I laid there for hours on the cement floor, unconscious with zero help. I woke up on the floor screaming with my head was pounding. Found out a few weeks after that I have brain damage. I regret that my family didn’t sue this place! I wish that I could!

Two words - HIGH ROPES - Interesting place. Looks like a great summer bible camp for kids. The place has multiple types of guests from corporate groups, to high schoolers through middle school. Decent location, if you are a foodie - don't even attempt to attend. The chiefs make kid comfort food. Potatoes are big (they are cheap and filling). Our rooms on the upper level of our chalet had A/C which was nice. Expect 3 to 4 to a room and common area bathrooms for each gender. Team building and critical thinking are the main point for older campers. Enjoy the problem solving and the high ropes courses

Solid Christian Bible Camp on a tight tract of land with great waterfront access. Not a flashy place, but a solid place. The High Ropes is one of the high lights and their food staff tend to make the most and do pretty great meals with the basics. Not a flashy camp, but a solid one. Great option for a weekend retreat given building investments in recent years.

A great location just over the border from Illinois into Wisconsin. Their group setting is perfect for the many retreats they have there. Excellent food, stunning views, perfect scenery and so quiet. Places like this allow you to get away from the daily hustle and bustle of life and allow you to focus on things you should be focused on. Terrific place!

Incredible camp and staff, especially have to brag on Chef Mike, Andrew (Pedro) and Sierra. Chef Mike is incredibly accommodating to individual dietary restrictions and is always happy to see you. Andrew (Pedro) is such a great sport and all the kids loved him. Sierra is such a great camp leader and immediately dives in to whatever you're doing that day. Couldn't ask for a better staff.

Attended a retreat from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon at the Watson Retreat Center, one of the buildings at Lutherdale Bible Camp. This is a Lutheran camp, but secular groups are welcome to use their retreat center.
The bedrooms are comfortable with decent beds and linens. The main meeting room is a lovely space with windows facing a wooded lot, high ceilings and a fireplace! But what I really want to highlight is the food. Our group had a lot of various food requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy free, etc.) and Mike and Holly and the rest of the kitchen staff

Happy happy camper for the third year in a row. The cost is low, facilities are beautiful, quality is fantastic...and the forms can be filled out online and are stored and ready for the next year. My son happily gives up electronics to be here each year, and his reviews of the counselors, food, and activities are always glowing. We love the end-of-the-week service, too; it gives us a nice peek into what the kids experience.

This camp is well organized and prepared to give campers a wonderful experience. Staff is well trained, facilities are nice and clean; there are lots of activities, from ropes courses to Gaga ball, swimming and canoeing. The meals are decent too! They also have a mini farm, where students can feed animals. Our church took elementary students for a half-week camp; it was their first camp experience and they were nervous, but at the end of the week they didn't want to leave. This summer they are asking to go for a full week!
