Easy scheduling. Inspection criteria clearly spelled out / posted. Very friendly, honest and knowledgeable staff (Gary, the owner and Bryan, his son)
After about 90 minutes of checking, Gary explained this is a one-time inspection required for new resident of MD State. The emission test subsequently will require every 2 yrs and they run cheaper.
Everything is clear and up-front (transparent). Great experience. Highly recommended.

While the service at Allbrand is great, my favorite thing about going to Gary and his team is ability to explain the car's issues like I'm a golden retriever. He's always thorough by showing me pictures, explaining why the issue is happening, and even tells me when I should avoid making a costly fix because of the age of my car. He recently told me to avoid investing $2k into my car for minor sound issues when I'm planning on selling the car in two years anyway. Allbrand is one of the most reliable and honest companies around. Have been using them for several years now. The owner and/or his son are great. I truly trust them to give me an honest answer. They are also very thorough. They don’t try and over sell you something your car does not need. In my case I had a costly item that I could have just lived with according to the owner but decided after a couple months to go ahead and get repaired (catalytic converter). It has never sounded better.

I had an emergency repair Thursday morning and was referred to Allbrand by a friend. Gary and Brian’s at Allbrand took great care of me and were able to fit my emergency repair in so I could have use of my car for the weekend. I come from Elkridge Maryland to Kensington for service. Excellent service with folks I can trust. It is worth the drive.

Gary and his team went above and beyond normal expectations to help when my car broke down on the Beltway and was towed to their shop just minutes before their closing time. Being that I don't live locally and was just passing through when the break down happened, Gary and crew graciously offered to stay well past closing time to make the needed repair and get me back on my way that evening. Highly recommend Allbrand to anyone in the area who needs their car serviced.

Gary and his team are great. I contacted them one afternoon and then had my SUV sunroof drain fixed before lunch the next day. They were very timely in their responses and let me know what had to be done. They were honest and didn't try to tack on any extra work. The pricing was more than fair, I had another auto service shop fix this same problem before and they charged me a lot more. I hope my Suzuki stays in great shape, but if it ever needs any fixes or service I will be calling the Allbrand Auto team.
